Description
This is part of a keel. Put together several of these and you will have the keel of a ship.
Notes
- The quality of the passive keel section affects the initial quality of the ship.
- The quality of the active keel section affects the success chance when creating a ship.
- The active keel section is lost when you fail creating a ship.
- Requires some ship building skill to build. If you don't have the option, make a few tenons first.
- The felled tree must be in your inventory. Chop some logs off it, if it is too heavy to pick up.
At 16 Ship Building, with keel sections improved to 25QL, you will have:
- 49% on Small Rowing Boat
- 32% on Small Sailing Boat
- 19% on Corbita
- 9% on Cog
At 28 Ship Building, with keel sections improved to 25QL, you will have:
- 62% on Small Rowing Boat
- 44% on Small Sailing Boat
- 30% on Corbita
- 18% on Cog
- 9% on Knarr
At 40 Ship Building, with keel sections improved to 42QL, you will have:
- 80% on Small Rowing Boat
- 64% on Small Sailing Boat
- 50% on Corbita
- 35% on Cog
- 21% on Knarr
- 10% on Caravel
At 50 Ship Building, with keel sections improved to 42QL, you will have:
- 86% on Small Rowing Boat
- 72% on Small Sailing Boat
- 59% on Corbita
- 44% on Cog
- 28% on Knarr
- 15% on Caravel
