I've been afk for 7 wurm days because of a bug that made the server think i was logged in but I wasnt, that is waaay to long for decay if any, also, that is faster than what the decay is now, it should be more like 7 REAL days to go down like 25 alignment IF ANYTHING

the alignment requirement to become a certain priest/champ is just dumb and a total PITA
playing 30 mins for 3 hours is dumb once again, and the requirement is insane again

SUCCESS IN SACRIFICE SHOULD NOT BE CHANCE

60 minutes of doing nothing for 3 hours of play is RETARDED, the meditation idea is absolutely absurd, nobody is going to ever be a priest if they have to sit in a corner with a rug to cast their spells.

this isnt Wurmonline:Dont play the game, this is Wurmonline: Go out and terraform and enjoy the game

those rough proposals take nothing of the actual game into consideration, I'd like to propose new ones, but the idea in a whole is so flawed it would just be a waste of time

== General Info ==

The Pirate Outpost was founded during the end of the last beta map by Raloc and Starving(midget). It was created under the impression that the players who joined should have unlimited freedom but always keeping the Pirate Outpost before all else. In later times a more pirate like theme of looting and plundering was adopted and we became widely known for it (causing one of the biggest civil wars at its time).

It is currently residing in the BMO Tundra, directly south of [[Kyara]].

== History ==

=== The Original Pirate Outpost===
was an idea formed during a 48 hour server downtime on the forums, it started as a simple idea as a town and slowly expanded on it. In the 48 hours the server was down, the thread had grown to 25 pages and the idea was set and prepared to be executed. The first one to join me in helping in this venture was Starvingmidget, who had an undying faith that we would do good. We chose an island 15 minutes away from the largest town at the time ([[Kyara]]) and went about starting. It soon grew, gaining several new members quickly (some notable mentions: Gedd, Crimsonwolf, Puzzle, Flimmy, Zelar being some of the few that started at Pirate Outpost and later moved on to other places) and a stone wall settlement being formed. The announcement of Gold happened the day we finished the main walls and all hope was lost. A few days later everyone stopped playing and the town decayed.

===Gold Ones Pirate Outpost===
was short lived, it started as Flimmy and Gedd joining myself (Raloc) trying to restart what we once had, we struggled to assemble a tower for our own good and to plant a deed, but the work flow was limited due to trying to juggle everything else and we soon conformed joining [[Leersum]] never to be seen again during that map

== Gold Two Pirate Outpost Endeavors ==

The map reset allowed for the idea of Pirate Outpost to be revived, and we took the chance while it was there. Shortly after the server was reset we chose a spot not far off from the [[Altar of Three]] this lasted for a few weeks until a griefing deed was placed outside our front door, making it impossible to leave (or plant our own deed) we struggled with the GM's trying to convince them it was illegal action (and coincidentally they built a tower behind us and rushed us with an enemy deed) but it never got through and we were forced to relocate.

We attempted to create a island in the water not too far away, after a weeks worth of digging and dropping, we finally purchased a deed. Upon trying to place it a land hogging homestead prevented us from planting again, we were on the verge of just quitting when it was suggested we should go and try to find an island and relive the times of the original Pirate Outpost, and so we did and headed north beyond [[Independent Settlers]](the old one). and so the first main town was formed

=== Island Pirate Outpost===
was formed (it was nicknamed thusly due to multiple Pirate Outposts) the first ever deeded Pirate Outpost. It was quite successful and occupied the majority of the island we chose. This Pirate Outpost lasted for some time, being the first big project most of us had some across. And during the time of Island Pirate Outpost, we gained several memorable figures including Imbill, Pvtryan, Kalinium, Awesomefusion, Tricks, Ishwoo, Digerati, all of which went on to play later. This Pirate Outpost was ended after encouragement from some of the towns to start attacking enemy settlements, we went at night to try and attack one place we had found, a small house seemingly in the middle of nowhere. After picking into it, taking all of the contents and leaving we learned that we were right next to [[Pirates Cove]] a Pirate Outpost knockoff and a child deed to [[Libilian Outlawz]]. Well lo and behold, Libilian Outlawz caught wind and soon raided us into the ground thus ending that chapter of The Pirate Outpost.

=== Tundra Pirate Outpost===
(dubbed thusly due to being planted on the tundra south of Kyara) was widely considered by Pirate Outpost members to be the most popular, most active and best Pirate Outpost that has ever existed. It was the first size 10 deed that Pirate Outpost had, it was technically named "Pirates of Brawlstow" after a suggestion that the Pirate Outpost name was worn out. This Pirate Outpost was highly influenced by the great [[Facepunch]] rush and thusly the deed was filled in 3 days flat. Soon the Pirate Outpost expanded faster than the elders could handle and a split off town was founded, being named [[shantytown|Shanty Town]] (which later grew into it's own town). Upon growth the town members grew bored of ordinary village doings and ventured into the world of pillaging and looting, starting with looting the houses around the landing and expanding to larger places such as [[Iron Hill]] and others. The other larger towns caught on and took action against Pirate Outpost, starting a constant state of civil war. Soon after declaring full war, the other towns leveled out Pirate Outpost and we soon disbanded.

===Northshore Pirate Outpost===
was placed directly north of Kyara on (you guessed it) the shore was a small size five village as a last stitch hope to restart the former glory of what Pirate Outpost once was, it gained a few more memorable members such as Stickmaus, Gnomie, Fernando, Viperguy, Skiyootlaroso and Fpspike. As time rolled on, it attempted to follow in the footsteps of the former glory of Tundra Pirate Outpost and soon was ended in a similar fashion but on a much much smaller scale. It was later disbanded due to loss of interest from the members.
