==Description==
Large (size 50) village located on a scenic bay in the southwestern corner of the Freedom Isles. With abundant forests, a mountain to our backs and ample local clay and tar we have an idyllic setting. Akhenaten has a rich history as one of the largest and most diverse villages, with roots going back to Jenn-Kellon Home and connections to the Wild server. The town has a very diverse community of title hoggers and casual players, of experienced and new players from all kinds of time zones. We value all players who love to be in our village and love to play this great game. New or experienced mature players will find a place for themselves in our community.

'''Linking''' is the process by which multiple [[priest]]s or [[champion player|champion]]s can pool their [[favor]] together as one. This will allow the recipient access to your favor but not the other way around. The link is one-way only with the linker giving their favor to the recipient of the link.

===Method===
*Activate the god's item of the linker.
*Right-click on another player and choose 'Link'. They now have access to your favor.
*To terminate the link, right click a tile and select 'Link'.

===Notes===
*Certain high-end spells can only be cast by linking, as they require more than 99 favor.
*Linking can only be done by priests or champions, and only between those of the same [[faith]].
*The link only operates over a range of about 4 tiles.
*The link will transfer any favor above 10 from the linkers first before using any favor of the recipient.
*The maximum number of links you can have is [(channeling skill / 10) +1}] Example - 5 channeling = 2 possible links, 72 channeling = 8 possible links
*In order to cast a spell while linked, the following 2 conditions must be true:
*1 - Total available group favor must be atleast the minimum favor cost for that spell. Available favor = [(combined favor of recipient and linkers) - (10 * number of linkers)]
*2 - Even if the linkers have enough favor to cast the spell, the recipient must still reach a minimum favor level depending on the spell. Example - Opulence or bless requires the recipient to reach atleast 10 favor, CoC & WoA require atleast 15 favor.

* Activate your [[god]]'s [[channeling]] item [[statuette of Vynora]], right-click an altar, and select ''Spells > Rite''.

The spell comes up 65 days or so after the previous cast, but is not castable until 80 days.
Try to cast it on an altar: If it tells you, "Vynora cannot grant that power right now", then you cannot cast it.
If it tells you, "You need more favor with your god to cast that spell", then you can cast it if you have the 300 favor.

*Right-click on another player and choose 'Link'. They now have access to your favor.
*To terminate the link, right click a tile and select 'Link'.

===Notes===
*Certain high-end spells can only be cast by linking, as they require more than 99 favor.
*Linking can only be done by priests or champions, and only between those of the same [[faith]].
*The link only operates over a range of about 4 tiles.
*The link will transfer any favor above 10 from the linkers first before using any favor of the recipient.

'''Avonthorn''' set out in his adventures in May of 2009 on the Golden Valley server. He found a quiet valley to settle half way between the original starter towns which is just west of present day New Dawn. His residence still exists today and is currently managed by Centerius.

On June 5th, 2009 he took a bold step to JK-H just before freedom opened. On June 17th, 2009 he once again packed his belongings and headed to freedom.

He had already planned on joining [[Akhenaten]] and after arriving in freedom on the first day, he met up with [[Mirabelle]] and sailed with her to the newly founded [[Akhenaten]].

On October 9th 2009 he became a [[Community Assistant]].

On January 16th 2011 he bacame a co-mayor of [[Akhenaten]].

==Current Location==
In August, 2009 he founded Blackacre on the top of a hill NE of [[Akhenaten]]. Blackacre valley was founded in December of 2010.

He is currently a co-mayor of [[Akhenaten]].

This spell stores [[favor]] in [[gems]], depending on the [[QL]] of the gem, and your current amount of favor.
You need at least 7.5 favor to cast vessel but it will only use a min of 5 [[favor]] on casting.
If the gem is less than 10QL, the gem is not filled but the priest loses 5 [[favor]] and can gain channeling skill as usual and the gem loses 3QL.
If the gem is above 10QL, you can still cast Vessel on it starting from 7.5 favor, then use it, and it will lose between 3.5 to 4.5QL, and you can
cast Vessel on it again and again (until it reaches 0 QL of course, in which case it will vanish)

===Example of Storing and Using Vessel===

Assume that the Priest has 50 Faith and a therefore a maximum of 50 Favor. The priest also has a gem of 25QL

If the priest had 30 favor and cast vessel on the 25QL gem their favor would drop to 0 and the gem would be completely filled with power, as the favor to completely fill a gem is the QL plus 5 Favor.

Now the priest, not wanting to wait to regain favor naturally uses the gem at once "You feel a rush of blood to your head as the power from the gem enters your body." the QL of the gem drops to almost 0 and the priests favor jumps up to 50. This is because the amount of favor used to fill the gem (not including the 5 used to cast) is doubled and given back to the priest.

A patch was applied in October 2008 making it impossible to finish most items inside carts, including, but not restricted to, fountains.

== Introduction ==

Wurm has three types of servers, entry, home and wild. Entry servers are where new accounts are created. Home servers are the home of a specific kingdom, while wild servers are battlegrounds existing between home servers. Currently there is a [[Golden Valley]] entry server, Jenn-Kellon home server ([[Jenn002]]), a Mol-Rehan home server ([[Molr001]]) and a wild server ([[Wild001]]). There is also a login server, [[Jenn001]].

All servers share the same decay rate except for Golden Valley that currently decays 3 times faster than the other servers. It is impossible to chat across servers boundaries, even with fellow villagers or friends.

Fully owned by the native kingdom. The entire server is automatically claimed as kingdom territory, so guard towers are not required to plant deeds.

In addition, stealing and PVP typically result in loss of [[reputation]]. As reputation drops, the player becomes an [[outlaw]] and eventually a [[blacklighter]]. At this point, the player is kicked off the server into the wild.

As an notable exception to the above, inter-settlement [[settlements#Wars|war]] is possible. However, both sides of the conflict are required to accept the declaration. It is not possible to wage war on a target who refuses to participate.

[[GM]]s will police these servers as needed, but ideally the game rules should take care of things automatically. [[Moderator]]s police the kingdom chat channels to ensure the chat rules are followed.

To encourage people to visit the wild server home servers have a cap on ore [[QL]], currently 50.

Wild servers are battlegrounds where different kingdoms clash together. There is no pre-owned land, it must be claimed by constructing guard towers. Deeds can only be placed within the territories claimed by the towers. Horde of the Summoned are only found on wild servers, having forsaken their original kingdom's home.

Full PVP is enabled between kingdoms, as well as internally within your own kingdom. The [[White Light]] and [[Black Light]] are found on the wild server.

GMs generally avoid intervening in wild server affairs. However, excessive griefing and other violations of the game rules will be punished as appropriate.

There are no resource limits on wild servers. Some monsters (notably [[huge spider]]s) are stronger, and the terrain is rougher.

The Golden Valley server is where all new accounts are created. Both [[Jenn-Kellon]] and [[Mol-Rehan]] can exist on the server but there is no PvP. There is no limit to the number of times an account can be converted on this server.

Premium can be purchased on GV. It does not have any effect until the player is on a different server. There is a portal to both home servers which can only be entered with a premium account. They are one-way portals.

Because premium has no effect on this server most items are effectively capped at around 20 [[QL]].

A [[farming]] product. It does not require a special tool to harvest. Used primarily for making [[string of cloth]] for [[tailoring]]. It can also be used for emergency bandaging. Cotton can be [[combine]]d.

[[Cotton seed]]s are produced by harvesting the cotton, then ruining it by picking the seeds out of the cotton with your hands. Each cotton picked produces one seed. Cotton weighing less than 1.00 kg cannot be picked.

Cotton seeds are found by [[botanizing]] grass tiles.

If you combine a lot of cotton together into one big lump, picking seeds can result in over 100 cotton seeds in your inventory.
