When Buttercup was first created, he set off to Golden Valley, upon his arrival he received a personal message from a mysterious player named - Elwoodj also known as [[Player:Elwood|Elwood]], who informed him there were in fact 2 Buttercups - Buttercup (who this article is on) and Buttercups. Buttercup is male, despite the character being female, and the combination of these things can lead to confusion.

Buttercup has four priests, one of each type, called Samus (Vynora priest), Athena (Fo priest) and Nyura (Magranon priest) and Jess (Libila priest), these are still currently on Freedom and are out of premium (with the exception of Jess who has premium and actively plays on the Wild server). Other alts Buttercup has include Blossom, Ponzi and Senduil. All of these remain on the Freedom server and are currently out of premium. Blossom and Senduil are used often to talk to many people on Freedom, offer and give help to many players on the Freedom server and to maintain the deed of Haerata, which Senduil owns.

When Buttercup first set of, he joined Nyrada as one of the elders (due to the fact he was a real life friend of the mayor). Nyrada grew over the months and then went into steady decline with many of the villagers becoming in-active including the two other elders, with the deed and writs handed over to Buttercup, Buttercup continued maintaining Nyrada till along with the other elders it was decided that Nyrada (and the other deeds Buttercup owned surrounding Nyrada which were placed on alts) should be sold along with the troll king.

Buttercup then after a few months of inactivity moved to Haerata where he resided semi-inactive till finally with some persuasion from Ols, left to join the wild server.

Upon arriving on the wild server, Buttercup along with Ols quickly joined Commorragh, and met many of his old villagers. Sadly a week after arriving on wild, Commorragh disbanded. Buttercup took all his stuff and along with Ols, moved to Sealand where they now reside peacefully...till the next adventure.

I'm not telling how I bypassed the IP ban for the forums, as I have no need to look at this page from now on. However, I happen to be Gate. (This was the account I made ages ago, and just looked up the password for it now).

I am stating that I will never be coming back to wurm, even though I have technological expertise to do so. If a mod just closes/deletes this right away, I don't really care. I'm just going to PM it to a few select people that I can call friends on here, and let them decide if they want to read it or not as well. But I thought I would throw this out to the public as well.

---MY STORY---

I started back on GV on march 23rd or so, and stumbled around. I had played wurm before, but was still a little rusty on everything that went on. So I eventually found a mine, and a tried to claim it as my own. I spent a total of ~4 hours chopping down trees, mining iron, and making them into lumps so I could make a large anvil. Unfortunately I had to log off, so I just left everything in my mine. The next day I awoke to find everything stolen from me. I then moved to a different mine and successfully attached a lock on the fence, therefore allowing myself to relax.

A week or so later, a wolf spawned into my mine. Being the newb I was, I could not survive against it, therefore making me have no place to go. I let out a few cries for help on PA help, and thankfully Azog and Rhaen came to my rescue. Upon killing the beast, they invited me to join their village, which I graciously accepted.

So we started on our journey over to HOTS lake.

The next day I accompanied Azog over to Powers' house to do some chores, so we could recieve a cow. That was the first time I met Powers, and i'm glad I accompanied Azog.

Over the next week we built an entire village up on the western shore of HOTS lake on the GV server. I did a lot of the terraforming there, which took a lot of my time. (This is how I got to 20digging)

Eventually I learned more and more secrets of the trade, and started to read the wiki more and more. Therefore almost beckoning me to be more vocal in "PA help".

Over the course of about 1 month, I believe I helped somewhere around 100 (newer) newbs with their problems, no matter how trivial. I answered questions, and even gave advice, even if there were PAs on. I am glad to say that 80-90% of everyone on the GV server knew me, and it was in a positive light.

After a while, everyone in our village started to become inactive, so I moved up to where I found a copper mine while exploring one time. I loved the view so much, and it was one of my favorite places throughout the whole map. During this time I got my mining and a couple of other skills up to 20.

A little time after that, I eventually decided to move over with Powers, as we were both anticipating the PvE server. So I placed a thread on the forums stating that I was giving away my house (which no one responded too :\), so I just gave it to Atlas. He was ecstatic.

So I packed up all of my belongings, and moved over with Powers, waiting and planning on what we would do once we got on the PvE server.

One fine day I awoke to a sign stating "I'm moving to MRH soon". So I took out my credit card, went to the wurm shop, and bought meself some premium time. Then I headed over to MRH with everything I owned. Thankfully I met up with Jiker, who allowed me to take one of his carts, and live nearby him, along with Praxius.

So I started building numerous amounts of fortifications all around me, so that I would be protected from any potential raiders, meanwhile talking to everyone in KChat. (Man I love KChat).

I recieve numerous offers to join villages (over the course of 2 gaming sessions with hours of playtime of ~8 hours straight each), and I might've joined one, but today I awoke to find out that I was banned from the game due to a blasphemous accusation of cliend modifications. Oh well, I would just like to say the following:

Thanks to everyone that has ever helped me, I will never forget it.
Thanks Powers, Lweena/Jade, Rhaen, Azog, Minari, Tanaris, Cyrusx, Gaffy, Garrettwademan, Onesickpuppy, Emoo, and Disciple.

Some of you I may not have known for long, but I still thank you a whole lot.

That being said, I'm actually glad I got banned for no reason. It makes me realize that I don't want to play a game where I can do nothing wrong, and lose everything I worked for.

I played this game almost non-stop. A little more than 12days worth of play time, and I joined late march. Thanks Rolf, thanks a lot.

Ols is a player on the Freedom server, presently the Doge of the Size 22 village of [[Nyrada]].

Ols started in August of 2008 on the Jenn-Kellon Home server, at the recommendation of his friend Johnny. Traveling to his home on the beach below Silent Hill, he learned the basics with the help of Uranoz and Jein, and ran errands to Newtown and back. Returning after a week's break, he found Uranoz had moved to Mol-Rehan, Jein had gone inactive, and Johnny was nowhere to be found. He traveled to Overkill's village Common Denominator at the request of Verlix, who promised to build a Corbita with him, and braved dangers in his trek across the map. Having arrived in Common Denominator, he was granted a house and membership and worked in the mine Overkill made when he was not felling trees for Cog parts.

Weeks passed, and one say he was asked to bring lead to the site of a village in the making, known as New Rotterdam. Finding that the Mayor once knew him on the online game Puzzle Pirates, he decided to settle there and learn terraforming. However, the site was abandoned days later after the deed failed to materialise and he ended up staying with his friend Uranoz while he was mostly inactive. Many months later, he received an e-mail detailing the demise of Jenn-Kellon, and he decided to start afresh on Freedom. After scavenging in towns such as Small Bears and Silent Hill, he stepped boldly into the portal and found himself in Samling.

Speaking in Freedom chat for the first time, he was surprised to be contacted by Elwood, Uranoz and Johnny, each offering a place in a community. He went to Uranoz's place, but managed to get killed once, and then found a barely terraformed spot, so he impatiently decided to return to Samling and wait for Johnny to arrive so they could build a home. His first home, on the highway south-east of Aegis was a quick solution to homelessness, and despite having a deep mine which he allowed the public to use, he achieved very little there, so he decided to leave the area on Johnny's Cog on a Freedom circumnavigation they had planned.

The voyage lasted a few days, but in the central lake he and Johnny stumbled upon the decaying village of Daevon, which they bought from the Mayor for 10s. They, Metson and Morten worked to make a successful village there, and despite establishing ties with Ginsu, they were hampered by the unwanted fences on deed and Johnny's erratic playtimes. Ultimately, the deed was passed to Ols, and with no activity in the village was disbanded to allow Morten to homestead there.

Ols, having offended every nearby settlement through his erratic terraforming, decided to do something else, and lazed around on the Halcyon tundra for a few weeks of inactivity, before participating in the millennium impalong's construction. Looking for lands to build his dream home on, he sailed to Ironizedphoenix's home on the eastern coast, but disliked the rock layer and decided to homestead near the Impalong's site. He sailed back and terraformed the site to accommodate his 11x11 deed and to have an assortment of farms and roads, and resided there until the construction of his island home, Higurashi.

After several months of on and off work around the area, the Freedom Christmas Impalong occurred, wherein Ols was fairly bored and had little to do on Freedom. After some encouragement from his friend Marley, the new character of Verlix, he decided to travel to Wild and make a new life for himself there. Residing at Mithril Hall doing on and off grinding he came back into contact with Johnny and asked him to return and travel to Wild. With Johnny's friends Tomahawk and Jonesy, they traveled to a new location, where they lived in frequent contact with Mithril Hall, but later were forced to return due to JK attack and threats to the main area of Mol-Rehan. Ols was asked to work in House of Mol-Rehan where he stayed for a month before going inactive to play other games.

Ols returned a month and a half later, and decided to return to Freedom and improve himself there. He first resolved to improve Higurashi, but shortly thereafter disbanded and demolished it due to poor potential for expansion, and now resides at the deed of [[Nyrada]], a Size 22 deed presently under construction.
