A medium difficulty ship, the cog requires fewer sails but more wooden materials than the [[corbita]] and is harder to create. Cogs are great merchant ships as they are a large size, not difficult to build and as a result inexpensive to buy. They are good for long journeys but are impractical for short hops, especially in light winds.

Traps are devious devices used to damage or cause other ill effects to those who trigger them. The [[traps]] skill is used in the placement or disarming of traps and affects the success rate. When failing to set a trap the message, "Sadly you fail to set the trap properly, the trap triggers and is destroyed" appears and successfully setting a trap prompts the message "You carefully set the trap" To set a trap, [[activate]] the trap and right click the corresponding tile for the type of trap and click "Set trap." Once set, traps begin to decay causing them do do less damage and eventually disappear. Trolls are extremely dangerous and should only be approached once you're certain you can kill one. They have a huge attack range so if in doubt its best to stay far from one unless examining from in water. In order to be absolutely sure you can kill a troll, make sure you have approximately 55-60 fighting skill and some good studded armour. It is highly recommended to ride a horse when fighting them. Another good idea is to lead the troll near water so you can easily retreat if needed. Trolls can give a deadly mauling wound which tops up over 50 damage. This sort of wound should be healed '''immediately!'''

When in the 30-40 fighting skill range, these creatures are the best to train on with a group of three or more.

== Building Items Inside Carts ==

This is a precarious thing to do as sometimes an item must be on the ground in order to be continued or finished. Other times, the item may be too heavy to remove from the cart once finished or too heavy to remove to add the last piece, leaving you with a 99% complete item that can never be used. A patch was applied in October 2008 making it impossible to finish most items inside carts, including, but not restricted to, fountains.

A few amusing things that used to be able to be finished inside carts: Shrines, Fountains, Guard Towers, Forges (could not light), Mailboxes.
