Wurm Online was originally created by Rolf Janssen (Rolf) and Markus Persson (Notch). Up until 2007 Notch and Rolf continued to work together on the game; developing the client and server sides respectively. In 2007 Notch retired, but Rolf continued working on the game and created the Client Development Team to continue improving the client.

Wurm currently has three types of server: Tutorial, Freedom (consisting of Independence, Deliverance, and Exodus) and Wild. A fourth type called 'Epic' (scenario lands) is planned. Currently not much information is known about the Epic server type as it's still in the planning and development phase. There is also a login server and a test server (which can be accessed via the wiki - see the link bar at the top left).

Server type details
Tutorial server
The Tutorial server (Golden Valley) is where all new accounts are created. The aim of the Tutorial server is to introduce the player to the game mechanics. Players may then move on from the Tutorial server to other server types using portals. Premium must be purchased to be able to move to the Wild server. Premium time has no effect till the player leaves the server - the Tutorial server only allows basic accounts, so skills are limited to a maximum of 20. This means resource quality is also limited to 20. There are also no gods or altars present on the Tutorial server.

The tutorial was built on the Golden Valley server. New players are spawned in the tutorial area and cannot leave other than through the portals to the Wild and Freedom servers. However accounts that were active before the tutorial was created are currently able to stay outside the tutorial area. These accounts are able to transfer to the other servers, but some have chosen to remain. PvP, theft, deeds, and guard towers are not allowed on the Tutorial server.

Freedom servers
Fully owned by the native kingdom. The entire server is automatically claimed as kingdom territory, so guard towers are not required to plant deeds.
Theft, PvP, and other kinds of grieving are frowned upon, and are bannable offenses in many instances. GMs will police these servers as needed, but ideally the game rules should take care of things automatically. Moderators police the kingdom chat channels to ensure the chat rules are followed.

A second Freedom server named Deliverance has been released, the server can be accessed through a portal at the end of the Tutorial or by sailing across the South border of Independence.

A third Freedom server named Exodus has been released, the server can be accessed through a portal at the end of the Tutorial or by sailing across the South border of Deliverance.

See the Freedom FAQ for more details.

Wild servers
Wild servers are battlegrounds where different kingdoms clash together. There is no pre-owned land, it must be claimed by constructing guard towers. Deeds can only be placed within the territories claimed by the towers.
Full PvP is enabled between kingdoms, as well as internally within your own kingdom. The white light and black light are found on the wild server. Each kingdom on wild has a leader and offices granted to players by the leader.
GMs generally avoid intervening in wild server affairs. However, excessive griefing and other violations of the game rules will be punished as appropriate. On wild servers monsters are tougher and the terrain is harsher. [citation needed]

Epic servers
Currently not much information is know about this server type as its still in the planning and implementation phase. Epic servers will run scenarios that form the story. A scenario will have permanent impact on the world and the success is dependent on the players. More details have been given on the blog about epic.

Inter-server travel
It is possible to travel between the Wild and Freedom servers via portals at all of the capital deeds: Samling and Freedom Market on Freedom; the Landing, the Shroud and the Gold Coast on Wild. The only items you can take with you when changing servers are coins, nodrop items (e.g. spyglasses, bags of keeping) and the starter tool kit. Additionally, fighting and archery skills are subject to a 1% penalty when crossing if either is above 50, meaning a 70 skill fighter will end up with 69.3 fighting upon arriving.

Travel from the Tutorial server is one-way only. Only premium characters can transfer to Wild. All characters can transfer to Freedom. Once you are on another server you may not go back to the Tutorial server, unless you start a new character.

You can travel between the two Freedom servers via boat. Sailing through the South border of Independence will place you in the North of Deliverance, and similarly sailing through the North border of Deliverance will place you in the South of Independence.

Test servers
The test servers exists to test large game updates before they are added to the main servers. There is currently only one test server.

How To Install and Configure Wurm to Get The Game Working
Disclaimer
This page is my stop gap attempt to try to help people resolve some of the initial frustration that can come when you try to run Wurm for the first time.

This page is not an official release by the dev team, though I hope they will add their own, probably more reliable, information as time goes by.

This page probably does duplicate information available elsewhere on the wiki. However, I feel that the need for a clear FAQ style page to help people get up and running is high enough to justify that.

I cannot verify everything initially on this page directly. There are too many system configurations and I only have the one machine.

Tritus 10:07, 5 December 2009 (CST)

Initial Install
The game can take quite some time to download when you run it for the first time, one to two hours or more depending on current internet conditions and your own connection.

It is worth being patient and downloading all the optional packs, since these make a vast difference to how good the game looks and sounds when you play.

After all the downloads are complete you will be asked which directory to install Wurm to.

For most people it will be best to accept the default, since any advice you may receive on the forums will probably refer to that location and will be easier to follow as a result.

Launcher Options
I recommend you have a quick browse through the various pages of the launcher, accessed by the buttons on the right, to familiarise yourself roughly with what is there. Dont change anything yet.

*Welcome: Kinda obvious, just the HTML view of the welcome message
*News: Occasionally displays interesting info about new game features and sometimes unusual server status
*Pack Updates: Mostly just a status dislay. Most players will not want to make any changes here
*Settings: See immediately below
*EULA: The terms and conditions which you play the game under. You should read this
*Credits: Lists the various people who make Wurm work

Settings
After initial install, before altering anything on these panels, you should change the word 'default' to 'mydefault' and then click Save Changes.

Now review each page one by one, ensuring that there are no obvious problems with the default settings.

Generally, if you don't understand what it does, then don't change it. See Client Configuration for more details.

Common Settings Changes
Game
*For some ATI: Older cards definitely worked better with Game Renderer set to 'LWGJL' though that seems not always an important issue any more.

*For most graphics: 'JOGL + AWT' seems to work fine and should only be changed if you find that the in game display updates very very slowly, if you have serious problems with seeing things generally or if you get serious graphical display errors like big lines on the screen or weirdly coloured objects.

Sound
*For everyone: Sound can occasionally have problems. Try setting to 'Software' or to 'None' if you seem to have problems with sound. A sound problem may occasionally be the reason for the game crashing during or shortly after the loading screens. However sound problems can also be cumulative and can take some time to cause problems.

Graphics & Advanced Graphics
If you have general gameplay speed problems or other miscellaneous graphics problems these can often be fixed or partially fixed by changing all graphics option to their minimum settings.

Compatibility
*FBO: Turning this off (Disabled) may help the game run better on some ATI cards or with some ATI driver versions.
*VBO: Turning this off (Disabled) may help the game run better on some INTEL graphics chipsets.

Specific Graphics Cards
Different cards and chipsets can have widely varying problems and solutions. Mostly there is some sort of work around but it is known that some very old graphics hardware and some very low end laptops and extreme budget desktops simply cannot run Wurm.

ATI Problems
Catalyst Control Panel
*Catalyst AI is known to cause problems in some games and can definitely cause problems in Wurm, though apparently only with some cards. For most games you should always play for the first time with this turned off.
*All other options: It seems generally less trouble free if you set all settings to 'Application Preference' if that option is given.

Catalyst Driver Versions
When deciding to try a different driver version, always make sure that you know your current driver version.

Always make sure that you have a back up of your current driver version. At the very least, create a Restore Point on Windows before changing from a working driver to one that you ave not used before.

*Catalyst 6.9: For very old ATI cards, 5-10 years and including Radeon 9600 through X800, this driver version was the most stable for any game using OpenGL (ie not DirectX).
*Catalyst 8.1, 8.3: These drivers seemed to work well with Wurm for ATI cards around 3-5 years old.
*Catalyst 8.9: This driver version may work better than 8.1 & 8.3 for some cards.
*Catalyst 9.8 & 9.9: These driver versions may cause some issues with Wurm for some ATI cards
*Catalyst 9.10 & 9.11: These are known to resolve some issues with 9.8 & 9.9. You may find that 9.10 will not work and that 9.11 will - or vice versa!

NVidia Problems
Overheating
Some NVidia cards are known to have overheating issues under certain circumstances and in many games.

To be safe, on the Wurm Launcher panel, go to Settings and select Advanced Graphics.
Click 'Enable Frame Limiter' and drag the slider below down to 30.

You may also be able increase the fan speed on your NVidia graphics card by using the NVidia Control Panel.
Wurm currently has three types of server, entry, freedom and wild. A fourth type called epic (scenario lands) is planned. Currently not much information is know about this server type as its still in the planning and implementation phase. There is also a login server and a test server.

Server type details
Entry servers
Entry servers are where all new accounts are created. The server contains JK, MR and HotS, but HotS is limited to PAs and GMs. The aim of the entry servers are to let new players try the game for free in almost all its glory. Players may then move on from the entry servers to other server types using portals. Premium must be purchased to be able to do this and has no effect till the player leaves the server.
Entry servers only allow basic accounts, so skills are limited to a maximum of 20. This means resource quality is also limited to 20. There is also no gods or altars present on the entry servers.

PvP, theft, deeds, and guard towers are not allowed on the entry server. On entry servers, decay is also 3 times faster and the server may be periodically reset (has not occurred yet).

Freedom servers
Fully owned by the native kingdom. The entire server is automatically claimed as kingdom territory, so guard towers are not required to plant deeds.
Theft, PvP, and other kinds of grieving are frowned upon, and are bannable offences in many instances. GMs will police these servers as needed, but ideally the game rules should take care of things automatically. Moderators police the kingdom chat channels to ensure the chat rules are followed.

On wild servers monsters are tougher and the terrain is more harsh.

Epic servers
Currently not much information is know about this server type as its still in the planning and implementation phase. Epic servers will run scenarios that form the story. A scenario will have permanent impact on the world and the success is dependent on the players.

Inter-server travel
It is possible to travel between the wild and freedom servers via portals at all of the capital deeds (Samling and Freedom Market on Freedom; the Landing, the Shroud and the Gold Coast on wild). The only items you can take with you when changing servers are coins, nodrop items (e.g. spyglasses, bags of keeping) and the starter tool kit. Each time you cross servers, 10 silver is deducted from your bank account as payment. Additionally, fighting and archery skills are subject to a 5% penalty when crossing if either is above 50, meaning a 70 skill fighter will end up with 66.5 fighting upon arriving.

Travel from the Golden Valley server is one-way only, and can only be done if your character is premium. Once you are on a premium server you may not go back to the Golden Valley, unless you start a new character.

Test servers
The test servers exists to test large game updates before they are added to the main servers. There is currently only one test server.

Description
It used to be possible to travel to JK-Home and MR-Home from Wild by swimming from one server to the other (east to reach JK and west to reach MR). However as these servers have been taken offline, it is no longer available. Traveling between the Freedom and Wild servers is available now, though not like before between Wild and the home servers. It is necessary to go to the portal at your kingdom's main settlement (The Landing, Gold Coast, Samling or The Shroud).

Old Server Layout
Wurm Online used to have 3 servers - Jenn-Kellon Home, Wild, and Mol Rehan Home. The two home kingdoms would only allow players of their respective kingdom to enter the server, but both JK and MR could go to Wild, and this is the only place HOTS was allowed.

The servers were laid out in a general west-to-east setup as shown in the picture below:
In the lower left corner (by default), you have the chat window. This is where you talk in Local, Kingdom, Village (when you become a citizen on a deed), and Private Messages (PM). To close a private conversation or Kingdom chat, click the small X in the upper right corner of the window. Local chat cannot be closed.

The chat window shortcut <code>t</code>.

To use special characters in any of the chat dialogs refer to this chart.

Local
Local is a channel for players within about 320 meters (80 tiles) radius from your position. The local channel is almost completely free speech, you may not use very offensive language, such as racist, sexist, and homophobic comments, nor may you talk about illegal drugs or substances. Both Blacklighters and Whitelighters can talk here. It is possible for players to be within the 80 tile radius and not appear in the list of names if they are stealthed or inside of a mine. Note that if a certain player is annoying, use ( /ignore name )to stop their comments.

Kingdom
Whether you are a member of Jenn-Kellon, Horde of the Summoned, or Mol-Rehan, Kingdom chat is a way for you to speak to all online members of your Kingdom. To talk in Kingdom when the window isn't open, use the <code>/shout</code> command, like so: "/shout Look out for the truck!" Use the command <code>/kchat</code> to turn off Kingdom chat from displaying entirely. The same command can be used to begin displaying Kingdom chat again.

As this channel is moderated, the rules for Kingdom chat are:

* Respect the rights of others. You may not harass ( sexually or otherwise), threaten or cause unwanted distress to any member.
* Do not use sexually explicit, harmfull, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive language.
* Do not discuss controversial topics such as (but not limited to) politics, religion, racism, sexism, or sexual orientation.
* Do not talk about drugs, drug usage, or any illegal substances.
* Do not talk about illegal activities such as warez, torrents, or macro's, even jokingly.
* English is the primary language for these forums.
* Posting of inappropriate links into kingdom chat will not be tollerated.
* Do not swear, Use of work arounds are not acceptable.
* Do not spam.
* Use of caps is frowned upon , and excessive cap use may be penalised.
* If you say something that is offensive to a large group of people and are asked to stop, please do so.
* Openly insulting, berating, or 'verbally' abusing CMs, GMs, or Devs will result in a mute.
* Impersonating a CM / GM is bannable.

GMs and CMs have the right to issue warnings, mutes as they see necessary to enforce these rules. In some cases excessive rule breaking or deliberate verbal attacks may warrant banning.

Village
If you are a member of a Village, the village chat can be opened using the <code>/village</code> command, followed by your message. All members of your village who are currently logged in will get the messages sent here.

To talk to only one player, use the <code>/tell</code> or <code>/t</code> commands. For example:
/t Zyndrome Hello, can you help me?

You may ignore somebody with the command <code>/ignore</code>, followed by their username. Unignoring is accomplished the same way. <code>/ignore</code> without a name following returns a list of whom you are ignoring.

Theft, PvP, and other kinds of griefing are frowned upon, and are bannable offences in many instances. GMs will police these servers as needed, but ideally the game rules should take care of things automatically. Moderators police the kingdom chat channels to ensure the chat rules are followed. Travel between freedom servers and other types of servers will be by portal and involves restrictions.

On wild servers monsters are tougher and the terrain is more harsh.

Epic servers
Currently not much information is know about this server type as its still in the planning and implementation phase. Epic servers will run scenarios that form the story. A scenario will have permanent impact on the world and the success is dependent on the players.

Server Type Details
Entry Servers
Entry servers are where all new accounts are created. The server contains JK,MR and HOTS, but HOTS is limited to PAs and GMs. The aim of the entry servers are to let new players try the game for free in almost all its glory. Players may then move on from the entry servers to other server types using portals. Premium must be purchased to be able to do this and has no effect till the player leaves the server.
Entry servers only allow basic accounts so skills are limited to a maximum of 20. This means resource quality is also limited to 20. There is also no gods or altars present on the entry servers.

PVP,theft, deeds and Towers are not allowed on the entry server. On entry servers decay is also 3 times faster and the server may be periodically reset (has not occurred yet).

Freedom servers
Fully owned by the native kingdom. The entire server is automatically claimed as kingdom territory, so guard towers are not required to plant deeds.
Theft, PVP, and other kinds of griefing are frowned upon, and are bannable offences in many instances. GMs will police these servers as needed, but ideally the game rules should take care of things automatically. Moderators police the kingdom chat channels to ensure the chat rules are followed. Travel between Freedom servers and other types of server will be by portal and involves restrictions.

On wild servers monster are tougher and the terrain is more harsh.

Epic servers
Currently not much information is know about this server type as its still in the planning and implementation phase. Epic servers will run scenarios that form the story. A scenario will have permanent impact on the world and the success is dependent on the players.

The test servers exists to test large game updates before they are added to the main servers. There is currently only one test server see here for details.

Wurm has three types of servers, entry, home and wild. Entry servers are where new accounts are created. Home servers are the home of a specific kingdom, while wild servers are battlegrounds existing between home servers. Currently there is a Golden Valley entry server, Jenn-Kellon home server (Jenn002), a Mol-Rehan home server (Molr001) and a wild server (Wild001). There is also a login server, Jenn001.

All servers share the same decay rate except for Golden Valley that currently decays 3 times faster than the other servers. It is impossible to chat across servers boundaries, even with fellow villagers or friends.
Note: Both JK Home and MR Home will be shut down shortly to be replaced by a new non PVP server called freedom. See this thread for more details. FAQ on freedom now available here.

Server specifics
Home server details
Fully owned by the native kingdom. The entire server is automatically claimed as kingdom territory, so guard towers are not required to plant deeds.

Theft, PVP, and other kinds of griefing are frowned upon, and are bannable offences in many instances. In addition, stealing and PVP typically result in loss of reputation. As reputation drops, the player becomes an outlaw and eventually a blacklighter. At this point, the player is kicked off the server into the wild.

As an notable exception to the above, inter-settlement war is possible. However, both sides of the conflict are required to accept the declaration. It is not possible to wage war on a target who refuses to participate.

GMs will police these servers as needed, but ideally the game rules should take care of things automatically. Moderators police the kingdom chat channels to ensure the chat rules are followed.

To encourage people to visit the wild server home servers have a cap on ore QL, currently 50.

Wild server details
Wild servers are battlegrounds where different kingdoms clash together. There is no pre-owned land, it must be claimed by constructing guard towers. Deeds can only be placed within the territories claimed by the towers. Horde of the Summoned are only found on wild servers, having forsaken their original kingdom's home.

Full PVP is enabled between kingdoms, as well as internally within your own kingdom. The White Light and Black Light are found on the wild server.

GMs generally avoid intervening in wild server affairs. However, excessive griefing and other violations of the game rules will be punished as appropriate.

There are no resource limits on wild servers. Some monsters (notably huge spiders) are stronger, and the terrain is rougher.

Golden Valley server details
The Golden Valley server is where all new accounts are created. Both Jenn-Kellon and Mol-Rehan can exist on the server but there is no PvP. There is no limit to the number of times an account can be converted on this server.

Premium can be purchased on GV. It does not have any effect until the player is on a different server. There is a portal to both home servers which can only be entered with a premium account. They are one-way portals.

Because premium has no effect on this server most items are effectively capped at around 20 QL.

Currently there is a Golden Valley entry server, Jenn-Kellon home server (Jenn002), a Mol-Rehan home server (Molr001) and a wild server (Wild001). == Server specifics ==

Note: On Golden Valley deeds still must be planted in kingdom influence even tough its not possible to build towers.

disclaimer

Introduction

Despite Wurm's capitalist tendancies, the concept of Bromunism prevails in New Broleans. Nothing is ever done without communal approval, and most brojects are undertaken for the good of society.

Main Page :: Useful links for beginners :: PAGENAME

This topic covers the most basic things you, a new player in Wurm Online, should know about.

What is Wurm Online?
<div style="-moz-border-radius:10px;background-color:#f8f8f8;border:2px solid #e0e0e0;margin-right:40%;padding:0px 3px;margin-bottom:10px;width:auto;"><center><br>http://www.wurmonline.com/img/wurmbanner.jpg
Notch (Founder): "...Wurm is not an MMORPG... ;)"

It's Massively Multiplayer Online Fantasy Simulator (MMOFS)

Or you could call it a <em>Life Emulator</em>...

<em><span style="color: green">A massive world you can create and shape around you.</span></em><br></center></div>

How to Download
On the main website (http://www.wurmonline.com) you simply click the big "Launch" button on the left. This will begin download of the Java Webstart application which will load the whole game for you. If this does not work (IE:/ if you end up with a .jnlp file that doesn't do anything) you will need to install Java from http://www.java.com/.<br/> If you have a problem with getting the Wurm client working try looking at the Common bugs and solutions page.

Creating an Account
The first thing you want to do is to create a valid account. To do this, go to the Wurmonline webpage and click Register (it's free). You will be asked for a Player name and an email address. Please note that the playername can only contain Alphabetic characters and no spaces. All letters in the name but the first one will be in lowercase.

You will then receive an email to the email address you supplied, in which there will be a completion link that will take you to the page where you choose your password and Challenge phrase. Once this step is complete, you may start the game by going back to the main webpage and clicking the 'Launch' image.

You must have the latest Java platform installed on your system to play Wurm Online. You may get Java here.

After starting Wurm you see the Login Screen, where one can enter his/her Username and Password. Enter your username and password, then click on the play button.

Upon logging in, your avatar will spawn (see Spawning) in a start village. Your start village depends on what server you chose to start on and what kingdom you have chosen to be in. You spawn here the first time you play, and also when you die (there are some exceptions).

Do not steal in and around the start town. The guards will quickly make swiss cheese of your body. On home server it is against the game rules to steal but on the wild server you are allowed.

If you get stuck in a large pit or cave and definitely cannot get out or if you find a bug/glitch Etc, type '/dev' to contact any of the GM's/Devs if they are online. <br>(See Helpful People). Please use this feature sparingly.

Movement and windows
See the page Interface and controls for an explanation of the various windows, bars and keys.

Getting started
A) There are 3 things that are considered essential to getting started:
# You need to start developing your cooking skills, go here: Guide To Cooking. Without food, your stamina bar will recharge extremely slowly and your actions will be limited.
# You need to build a house, go here: The "how do I build a house?" guide.
# You need a chest with a lock for secure storage, go here: Secure Storage

* It is strongly recommended that you form or join a settlement, as cooperation is a key part of succeeding in any task.
* Try to stay close to your start town until you get the hang of the game.

Death and dying
When you die you will loose 0.25 points from each skill, and 0.1 body strength, or if you die in pvp or fight with guard you lose only fight skill. Note that the body strength currently only updates every 2nd death or with a client restart. With the exception of the newbie items you get when you first start, deeds, writs, and any items you may have in a Bag of Keeping (BoK) or Master Bag of Keeping (MBoK) your items will be on your corpse. As long as your items are in your corpse they are safe from other players. You'll need to find it to get them back. If the corpse has decayed, usually 24 hours, the items that were on it will be a pile of items on the ground where you died.

Also, you will be on a red and black screen with a little box in the middle, you will have to choose where you want to respawn. If you are dead and you cannot see the little box, type /respawn in your chat window.

While you have no deed, you will only be able to spawn at your start town. When you are the owner or citizen of a settlement, you will be able to spawn on that settlement. If that settlement has any allies you will be able to spawn there also if you die within 50 tiles of their center.

Servers and accounts
See Account Types for an explanation of the various accounts
See Server Types for an explanation of the two server types.

Common problems of new players
Q) What's the difference between equip and activate?
A) An active item can be used to interact with the world around you, like cut a tree down with your small axe active. You equip a weapon which is then used automatically while in combat.

Q) How do I activate an item?
A) Double click on it. It will show up at the bottom of the inventory next to Active: This means that you can use the item for the tasks it is designed for.

Q) How do I equip a weapon?
A) Put it in your right hand. A second weapon can go in the left hand, but it is used less often, so put your main weapon in your right hand. When you do so, you will get an event message: 'You equip a short sword in your right hand'. You may also want to put a shield on your left arm (the left hand won't be used if you do), or armor on other bodyparts.

Q) Where do I get a pelt?
A) Pelts are a product from large rats, wild cats, mountain lions and dogs. In order to get one, you first have to find and kill one of those animals. then you have to use a butchering knife to butcher the corpse. If you are successful, you may get a pelt or meat and other assorted products. Alternatively, you may be lucky enough to find one for sale at a trader, or you might find a more experienced player willing to give or sell you a pelt.

Q) Can I starve to death or die of thirst?
A) No. If those bars are empty, you won't be able to perform some stamina draining actions (like mining) and your stamina will recharge very slowly. For more information, read Basic Knowledge.

Q) How do I make money?
A) Unlike other games you may have played, money is not gained from killing monsters, but rather from the sale of items you have crafted to other players and traders. You could also convert real-life <strong>&euro;</strong>'s<small>(Euros)</small> into <del><strong>¤W¤</strong></del>'s<small>(Wurm currency/silver)</small> using the Wurm store...

Q) Why is it so dark? I can't see
A) * The problem may lie with your graphics card. Check to see if it features a gamma adjustment setting. If so turn it up very high.
A) * The game features full day/night cycles and nighttimes are fairly dark. Time in Wurm is 8x real time so the darkness should only last 1 to 1.5 hours.

Q) How do I use a large anvil?
A) The large anvil is best used on ground or while it is in a forge or campfire and making the lump active.

Q) How do I change game settings? How do I get better frame rates
A) On the log-in screen, there is an options button, you can change the settings there. More information on those settings can be found here

Q) What weapon should I create first?
A) A 10 quality short sword is good for killing rats and such.

Q) Why am I moving so slowly?
A) There are many factors that can reduce your speed:
* Rough terrain
* Carrying heavy loads
* Wearing armour
* Having low stamina
* The "Hurting" status

Also, make sure the "climbing" toggle is switched off.

Q) What are percentages on creating items?
A) The percentage listed on the create menu is the chance that you will succeed, all modifiers taken into account. However, unlucky streaks can and will happen. Failing ten times in a row with 95% success rate is very bad luck, not a bug.

Q) Why wont my stamina regenerate?
This may be caused by lag or you having "Hungry" and/or "Thirsty" in your event box, or your Climbing switch is activated.
