* It can be hung from ceilings.
* When placed on a deed, chandeliers will automatically light at night and snuff at sunrise, like other types of lamps. You need fuel them with candles to light them the first time, but they will not need refueling.
* Chandeliers are lit by candles made from animal fat or beeswax, instead of tar or oil.
* The lamp quality determines how far the lamp will illuminate.
* Can be made from any metal.
* No matter how many candles the model holds, you only need one to fill it.

Joat: /* Double bonus materials */

Main / Religion / Favor

Description
Favor is used by priests and champions in casting spells. It is an unseen, mystical resource that is only limited in obtainable quantity by the player's current level of faith. Favor replenishes automatically and can optionally be stored in gems with the spell Vessel.

Gains and Replenishment
The rate of replenishment of favor is slow and decreases the more favor you have. Going from 30 to 60 favor takes about 3 times longer than going from 0 to 30. The actual faith being utilized has no noticeable influence on the rate of replenishment.

A good rule of thumb for favor gain from 0 favor is
*2 minutes to gain 10 Favor
*10 minutes to gain 20 Favor
*22 minutes to gain 30 Favor.

Favor gain is halved when performing an action.

Favor can be gained by sacrificing items or money at an altar of your god. Any quality level of item may be sacrificed in this way, but the higher the quality level, the more favor is consequently gained. Praying can grant you both an instant favor boost, as well as a temporary favor gain rate increase. The completion of missions for the gods is also an effective way to gain favor.
Pending Favor
When sacrificing items, any favor that would overfill your current Favor bar will instead be added as pending Favor, which you will receive gradually over time.

Pending favor will still drain when your favor bar is full but at a much slower rate.

Sacrificing items when your Favor bar is full will still result in gaining deed bonuses instead of favor (or pending favor).

Your total amount of pending favor is equal to five times your current faith.

You may view your current amount of pending favor by hovering over the status effect icon with the mouse.

Pending favor is no longer added to current favor with enemies in local on PVP servers.

Armour other than cloth armour slows down the rate of favor replenishment, but the differences seem minor.

Sacrificing
Putting an item in an altar and right-clicking the altar will give the option to "sacrifice". A player must be a follower of a god, with at least 10 faith to sacrifice. Items can be sacrificed in an altar representing the god you are following and has several beneficial effects that depend on what you sacrifice and how much. Sacrificing an item will remove it from the world so apart from sacrificing in order to gain any of the beneficial effects, it's used in order to get rid of unwanted items.

To check for favor gain from an item (or items), put it (them) inside the altar and right-click on that altar, selecting Get Price. While the name is misleading, you will get the amount of favor for those items, not the price.

Double bonus materials
Each god has a specific material or materials they prefer, which give double the usual favor of deed Faith bonus. That means that if you sacrifice an item of a material your god prefers, you'll get twice as much favor or deed faith bonus as the item normally would. For example: If a Vynora priest sacrifices a door lock it gets x amount of favor but if a Magranon priest sacrifices the same door lock it gets 2x the amount.

*Vynora: Wood; Pottery
*Fo: Cloth; Food
*Magranon: Metals
*Libila: Animal parts

Due to high base value and ease of creation, some items are particularly popular and useful for certain gods. For example, yoyos are often used by Vynora priests because a priest can craft them at high quality without need for improvement, and their base value is higher than most other wooden items.

*Vynora: Yoyo and Torch
*Fo: Square piece of cloth
*Magranon: Door lock
*Libila: Animal parts

Results from Sacrificing
Deed Faith Bonus
Deed faith bonuses are only increased if your favor is already full. See Faith bonuses for details.
Healing of wounds
When sacrificing items of high value the gods might heal your wounds. How much is healed depends on the value of the sacrificed items.

Alignment gain
Sacrificing an item with a high enough value will increase your alignment. As with deed faith bonus and favor, an item's value counts as double if it is made from a material preferred by your god.

Potion
A greenish potion might be awarded when sacrificing items that add up to a high value. The potion will end up inside your inventory.

Refill of Stamina, Nutrition, Food and Water, and Skill gain
Sacrificing a rare item of any kind will refill the stamina, food, and water bars in the same fashion as the Path of Love ability Refresh and will heal a random wound regardless of severity. Supreme and fantastic abilities will also grant you a tick in a random skill.

The rare items need to be of full weight in order to give the bonus, i.e. a rare log that weighs 24 kg will refill the bars but a log that weighs 17kgs will not.

Deed faith bonus
Sacrificing items will also add to your deed faith bonuses.

Notes
* To be able to sacrifice an item it must fit in the altar. If you are sacrificing to get rid of the item, you can try using a trash heap if it does not fit.
* Sacrificing creatures is done with a sacrificial knife.
** This can only be done when there is a current mission for it, or, for a limited list of animals, also outside missions.
* Sacrificing 10 items one at a time will give the same amount of favor or deed faith bonus as sacrificing all 10 at once. The items are registered individually and not as part of a unit. Combined items also generally give the same favor and bonus, except in the case of favor gain for alchemy ingredients for Libila.
* For deed enchantment bonus specifically, most low-value bulk items such as wood scrap use a formula based on weight instead of value if the value is low enough. This formula does not take your god into account, so large combined woodscrap may give the same Enchantment bonus regardless of god. The healing and war bonuses always use item value, not weight.
* The sacrifice action will take priority over the current action and instantly start, canceling the current action, then continuing with the next action.

Quality required for 1 favour gained:

*Cordage Rope: 19.62ql
*Square Piece of Cloth: 31.16ql (22.36 for Fo)
*Door lock: 31.16ql (22.36 for Mag)
*Yoyo: 31.16ql (22.36 for Vyn)
*Chopped vegetables: 40.0 ql

Main / PAGENAME

Description
You can send mail to other players in the game via spirit containers which have been enchanted by priests/priestesses of Fo or Libila with the spells Courier or Dark messenger.

Mailboxes do receive damage and can be destroyed by decay, causing the cast on it to disappear.

Types of spirit containers
There is no difference in operation between the various spirit containers.
*Spirit house - fine carpentry
*Spirit mansion - fine carpentry
*Spirit cottage - masonry
*Spirit castle - masonry

Mail between servers
* You cannot send an item to a member of an enemy kingdom on Chaos or on Epic servers. You get the message: "You may not trade with the enemy."
* You cannot send items between Freedom or Epic servers and the Jackal server.
* You cannot send items between North and South Freedom clusters.
* NOTICE: Items will be mailed to the server the recipient is currently present on. It can only be retrieved from that server.

Sending process
To send the mail,
# Drop the item(s) into any spirit container, then right-click the container, and select Send.
# There are two dialogues that will control how the items are sent.
## The first allows you to specify the name of the recipient, and what items should be sent using C.O.D. (cash on delivery). It also allows to skip the second dialog.
## The second dialogue allows you to see how much the delivery charge will be, and to specify the C.O.D. amount you will charge the recipient if applicable.

Receiving process
When you login, you will receive a message if you have any mail. You sense imps speaking your name and saying you have 1 mail waiting to be picked up.

To receive or check for mail, right-click any spirit container and select Check. If an item is sent as Cash On Delivery you need to have the money in your bank to cover the delivery charge before you can receive the items.

You also have the option to return the items to the sender.

Non-retrieved items
If the recipient does not pick up their mail within two weeks, they are automatically returned-to-sender.

The returned items will go back to the server the sender was on at the time it was sent. The sender will not receive a mail notification unless they enter that server.

If the original sender does not pick up the returned items within two weeks, they are destroyed.

If the recipient uses return-to-sender and the original sender does not pick up the items within 7 days, they are destroyed.

If a merchant disbands due to 3 months of inactivity of its owner, then their contents will be mailed to the owner with a 6 month expiry period.

<span style="text-decoration: underline;">There is no way to extract items from the mail system if you are not the recipient !</span>

If you are sending something valuable, ensure that the recipient is available to pick it up before you send it. If you return an item to the sender, it would be good manners to contact them to ensure they retrieve it before the two week deadline.

Postage charges
The postage is 1 copper per item for same or cross-server mailing. The postage fee is taken from the bank account of the sender as the items are sent, unless they are C.O.D., in which case it is taken from the recipient when received.

Exceptions
* An inscribed papyrus sheet or paper sheet is 1 iron to mail.
* Combined items (such as metal lumps, wood scraps, liquids, etc) are 1 copper per 5 kg.

Delivery times
Any items sent via mailbox have a predetermined time for mailing, based on the power of the enchant of the sending mailbox.
the timer is 101 minus power in minutes.

Examples:
*1 power will take 100 minutes.
*50 power will take 51 minutes.
*99 power will take 2 minutes.
*101 or higher power will be instant.

Notes
Items sent in containers still incur fees. Example : A backpack with 3 wood scraps in it would cost you 4 x 1 copper (1x backpack, 3x wood scrap) to send due to being counted as 4 separate items. However, combining items (e.g. lumps) does decrease the mailing cost - combined items that are mailed will cost 1 copper per 5 kg, so a 5kg lump costs the same as one 1 kg lump.
A weapon with Flaming aura has a chance to create an additional fire damage wound whenever it does damage. The chance is believed to increase with higher enchant power. The burn wound has damage proportional to the damage dealt, up to 1/3 with enchant power 104. Lesser enchants deal a percentage of this, e.g. 25% (effectively 1/12) for enchant power 25.
