The Epic server has missions which make up a scenario. As scenario and mission go hand in hand, they are both explained here.

Scenario and missions
They are the power struggles of the gods in which players can help. This is done by helping spirits (by doing missions) that can travel between Valrei the home of the gods and the game world were the players live. The gods are looking for "collectable tokens" and have a movement of 1 step for every 3 real life days. (With an exception if they are in a labyrinth.) Doing missions can speed this up.

The required number of missions in order to help your deity move is one per wild server and one per home server belonging to your kingdom template. Only missions completed on the Epic servers count – missions on Freedom servers are for fun only and don’t contribute.

Here is a map of the latest movement of the gods

When a deity has "enough" collectables and returns to the starting point that god wins the power struggle, the scenario ends and the winner receives bonuses and/or may punish the others with some cataclysmic event (the amount of collectables needed seems to be unknown, so there's no way you can see their progress, as far as I know). The best way to describe it is a race, however, we have no way of knowing how far ahead or behind our deity is.

There are also "source tokens" and "immortals". Source tokens are not collectibles but items (for example the golden feathers) that give their carrier bonuses in fighting immortals. Immortals are the pawns on the map and are immortal for various reasons, they are not gods themselves but a kind of demi-god. Some Immortals are allies of the real gods. The collectible tokens and source tokens are the vases on the map.

Completing missions
There are different missions and tasks. The more important the movement of a god seems to be, the more difficult the mission. (Not verified)

An example of a mission is for Mol-Rehan to feed a Young avatar of Magranon Buffalo cheeses. An another was for Jenn-Kellon to cut down trees.
So far the descriptions seem to be vague. For example: the restrictions of some missions like making a foundation pillar seem next to impossible. The cave has to have "enough" height, there are no means to measure a vertical tile edge. And the cave has to be flat, there are no border tiles, so you either have guess or keep mining till you happen to find a flat tile. (Its all doable, but only if you already know how to.) The pillar itself gains very little ql over time, even if you use high quality materials. And can both work or not work if it ends under 30QL, another restriction found in the blogs. This means if you finish a pillar, you can still fail the mission.

Foundation pillar may be sites for future missions. Probably there will be clues given were to find a certain pillar, as there may only be 1 person who knows where to find without clues, if he or she made it solo.

Mission reward
Anyone who works towards the completion of a mission gets 30mins of sleep bonus.
Your god moves faster giving them a greater chance to get tokens.

Your may be rewarded with demi-god status if you're deity has collected the cherry token from the gameboard. If this happens the player will become an ally of their deity and guard a random area on the gameboard like the existing Immortals.
If the demi-god survives long enough for their deity to win another scenario with the cherry token, there is the chance that they will be raised to full godhood, becoming a deity in their own right. If this happens, the player-god will have it's own religion enabled for other players to follow, complete with spells. The player-god can also move around the board in the same manner as the existing gods.

Current information suggests that as demi-god or god your account will become unplayable. The reward of becoming (demi-) god is a double edged sword as it might be the highest form of reward, u also lose your character. The god status was more favorable when there were plans to reset everyone at the end of a scenario. Now thats no longer the case.

There may only be 1 person who knows where to find a certain pillar, if he or she made it solo.

The reward of getting demi-god and become unplayable is a double edged sword as it might be the highest for of reward u also lose your character. The god status was more favorable when there were plans to reset everyone. Now thats no longer the case.

They are the power struggles of the gods in which players can help. This is done by helping spirits (by doing missions) that can travel between Valrei the home of the gods and the game world were the players live. The required number of missions in order to help your deity move is one per wild server and one per home server belonging to your kingdom template. Only missions completed on the Epic servers count – missions on Freedom servers are for fun only and don’t contribute.

An example of a mission is for Mol-Rehan to feed a Young avatar of Magranon Buffalo cheeses. An another was for Jenn-Kellon to cut down trees.
Also lots of time the description seem to be vague and incomplete. For example: the restrictions of some missions like making a foundation pillar seem next to impossible. The cave has to have "enough" height, there are no means to measure a vertical tile edge. And the cave has to be flat, there are no border tiles, so u either have guess or keep mining till u happen to find a flat tile. (Its all doable, but only if u already know how to.) The pillar itself gets very little ql over time even if u use high ql materials and can both work or not work if it ends under ql30, a restriction found in the blogs. Which means if u finish the pillar, u can still fail whatever u do. (Combined with not knowning how good/bad your god is doing in the scenario (are u helping your god indirectly to defeat an immortal by doing the mission or not) add to the fact that the missions are getting less popular.)

Foundation pillar are sites for future missions. But very few will find them to do that mission, if theres no clue about their wereabouts. There may be only 1 person knowning were to find a certain pillar, if he or she made it solo.

Are the powerstruggle of the gods in which players can help. This is done by helping spirits (by doing missions) that can travel between Valei the home of the gods and the game world were the players live. The gods are looking for "collectable tokens" and have a movement of 1 step for every 3 real life days. (With an exeption if are in a labyrith.) Doing missions can speed this up.

The required number of missions in order to help your deity move is one per wild server and one per home server belonging to your kingdom template. Only missions completed on the Epic servers count – missions on Freedom servers are for fun only and don’t contribute.

Here is a map of the latest movement of the gods:
http://hom.creative-realms.net/valrei2/last.html

When a deity has "enough" collectables and returns to the starting point, that god wins the powerstruggle and a scenario ends, the winner receives bonusses and may punish the others with some cataclysmic event. (The amount of collectables needed seems to be unknown, so theres no way u can see their progress, as far as i know.) So the powerstruggle seems very vague and uninspiring. The best way i think to describe it is a race, however we have no way in knowning our deity is far ahead or falling behind.

There are also "source tokens" and "immortals". Source tokens are not collectibles but items (for example the golden feathers) that give their carrier bonusses in fighting immortals. Immortals are the pawns on the map and are immortal for various reasons, they are not gods but allies or enemies of them. The collectible tokens and source tokens are the vases on the map.

*The scenario,
Is the powerstruggle of the gods in which players can help.

When a deity has "enough" collectables and returns to the starting point a god wins the powerstruggle and a scenario ends, the winner receives bonusses and may punish the others with some cataclysmic event. (The amount seems to be unknown so theres no way u can see their progress, as far as i know.) So the powerstruggle seems very vague and uninspiring. The best way i think to describe it is a race, however we have no way in knowning our deity is far ahead or falling behind.

There are also "source tokens" and "immortals". Source tokens are not collectibles but items (for example the golden feathers) that give their carrier bonusses in fighting immortals. Immortals are the pawns on the map and are immortal for various reasons. The collectible tokens and source tokens are the vases on the map.

The can either The missions are Kingdom wide and is giving by there faction god.

An example of such a mission is for Mol-Rehan to feed a Young avatar of Magranon Buffalo cheeses.
*It doesnt seems to be affected by arrows. Even if u get a hit it seems to glance off.
Example: <Atazoth> [13:02:04] Your arrow glances off The aged starving kyklops and does no damage.
So either it needs extremely high ql gear for a succesfull hit, or its simply not possible. But for me a hit is a hit.
This is not to be confused with armor as that will get notified too: <Atazoth> [13:01:47] Your arrow glances off The aged starving kyklops's armour.

Main / Skills / Nature / PAGENAME

Description
Taming is a skill used to make an animal a pet. You can only have one pet at a time, so if you have a pet and tame another, your first pet will become untamed. Pets that become untamed will return to their normal hostile or non-hostile stance; ie. if the animal is normally hostile then it will begin attacking guards and players.

There is a penalty to taming for Blacklighters; taming is still possible but with a higher level of difficulty.

Only animals can be tamed; for monsters you need to be a Priest/Priestess and a follower of Magranon or Libila.
* A Priest/Priestess of Magranon at 40 faith can cast Dominate to tame monsters.
* A Priest/Priestess of Libila at 40 faith can cast Rebirth to raise the spirit of a slain animal, monster or player as a zombie pet.

Characteristics gained
Soul / Soul strength, Soul depth

Method
You can tame an animal by activating an item that it will eat, then right-click the animal and choose Tame. For some animals the item is seeds, for others it is meat or fish (also fileted).

The QL of the taming item speeds up the taming action, for about 1 second per 20 QL.

Taming Skill and Status of Animal
* 0-10 Upset
* 10-20 Nervous
* 20-30 Submissive
* 30-40 Calm
* 40-50 Tame
* 50-60 Loyal
* 60-70 Trusting
* 70-99 Extremely loyal

The taming status can be used to know when your animal will go untame. When you tame an animal numerous times, then at a 42 taming skill, for example, your animal will have a maximum "tamed level" of [42]. Over time, this value will decay. Examining the animal to check its status can tell you on average how high this level is, with "upset" being the least reliable status, as your animal could go untame without further warning.

If a pet is hit, it will lose loyalty. Stronger animals lose more loyalty when hit than weaker animals.

Handling Pet
A pet can be ordered to go somewhere or to attack other animals or people. You can also lead a pet with a rope.

A pet can't be tamed by another person while it is your pet. A higher taming skill will probably make the animal stay longer as your pet.

You can decide if your pet should go offline or stay online when you log off. Right-click something and select <tt>Pet > Go offline/online.</tt>

You can give your pet to another person: right-click on the person and select <tt>Pet > Give away pet</tt>. They may need to type <tt>/invitations</tt> command first. They must not have a pet before. Their own taming skill must be high enough to keep the animal.

Notice about Taming Difficulty
As of February 2008, when Mol-Rehan was introduced, taming was made much harder. While past mechanics allowed you to just try and tame again when you failed, the new system will make the animal go aggressive and attack you if you fail by too large a margin. Additionally, it will lose a level of loyalty when this happens. All animals also had their taming difficulty severely raised, making it very hard to tame a champion class animal and a gruesome project to tame even an ordinary bear with as high as 50 taming. You are advised to take extreme caution when attempting to tame something, preferably by fencing the animal in and taking refuge outside the gate if the animal goes berserk on you.

If you want to stop attacking a pet that has gone aggressive, move a few tiles away, right-click on ground and choose No target (if you have "Display 'no target' in menus" option checked in Settings).

If the animal has at least a single level of loyalty left after going aggressive from a failed taming, it will revert to its tamed status again after a while, provided nobody attacks it. Naturally neutral animals such as pigs, roosters, pheasants and unicorns will also return to their neutral state some time after a fail.
Don't forget that deed and tower guards attack hostile animals if summoned, but only if the animal is naturally hostile. For example, guards will attack a crocodile if summoned, but will ignore a berserk unicorn.

Certain animals are much easily kept tame than others. An upset status dog can remain tame for a day or two. However, be aware that a crocodile at upset or nervous level could go untamed any second since they are very aggressive animals.

Messages
; [The animal] sniffs the air and looks too nervous to focus.: Move the animal to another spot or off deed before taming.

A Good Guide to Raising Taming Skill
You'll need:<br>
1x cauldron<br>
9x meat<br>
1x pig<br>
1x pottery flask<br> and
water

1. Fill the cauldron with the water and put the meat in and cook it till it makes a soup.<br>
2. Get the pig and if you haven't done so already, walk it off deed.<br>
3. Get the pottery flask and drag the soup from the cauldron to the flask. It only takes 0.25kg of the soup.<br> 4. Tame the pig using the soup in the flask. Once it is tamed, repeat the process over and over till you have no more soup.<br>A good idea is to add 9 grains (rye or others) and 2 vegetables (potatoes, corn, etc) to the flask before the soup. This makes the taming use 0.005kg of soup, allowing one cauldron of soup to last much longer.<br>

Taming Skill Levels
*00 Pigs, Dogs
*05 Wolves, Cows/Bulls
*07 Horses (may be possible to tame even before?)
*15 Brown Bears
*15 Young Champion Wolves
*20 Black Bears
*35-40 Unicorns
*40 Crocodiles
*50+ Champion Unicorns

Titles
Notes
* X = not possible
* NA = not applicable
* ? = need data
* Rags = 0.1kg each
* Cotton = 1.0kg each
* Seeds = 0.1kg each
* Meat filet = 0.3kg each

Jars used to hold 1.94 kg instead of 2.00, but all such jars were destroyed in the cataclysm before Gold 2.

Volume denotes the number of kilograms (kgs) of a liquid--usually water--a container will hold. The weight attribute is the weight of the container itself, not the amount of weight it will hold. Items list their weight although when it comes to storing them inside containers it's their hidden volume attribute that is used. For example, a cart will only hold 94kg of cotton, but that same cart will hold 1,400kg of bricks because the cotton has significantly greater volume than bricks. Unfortunately the volume of items is not displayed--only their weight.

If a container contains a liquid, it cannot contain other items (solid or liquid). One exception is that water can be mixed with cooking ingredients, e.g. to make soup.

Main / Skills / PAGENAME

Description
Archery is a skill which involves an arrow and a bow.

Characteristic gained
Body / Body Control

Method
To shoot you need to equip a bow in your hands and activate it, and then right click on your target. Make sure the bow is strung.

If you have a target selected (player or animal, not archery target), you can also use the 'ranged' icon if you have the bow equipped.

The arrows shot first are the ones in your quiver on your body, next are the ones in your quiver in your inventory, and last are the ones in your inventory. If you have an empty quiver in your inventory, no arrows in your inventory or in other quivers in your inventory will be shot.

If a quiver is found in the inventory but it is empty, no arrow will be shot. This gives you good control over which arrows are shot. Arrows are fired in the following order: 1. War arrows, 2. Hunting arrows, 3. shafts.

*The best bows are made from willow.
*Arrows made from cedar are easier to improve.
*Arrows made from maple take less damage.

*Quality of the bow string affects hit chance and the chance that it breaks.
*Quality of the arrow affects hit chance and the chance that it breaks.

*Archery has a lower hit chance during the night (from 21:00 to 06:00 wurm time).

*Wearing a shield can significantly increase the rate at which you block arrows.
*The effectiveness of arrows against animals has been disputed. It is of general consensus that it's more deadly in PvP.
*Bows work best when fired at their best range. If you try to fire closer than their minimum range you will not shoot.
Enchanting
In general anything that affects speed, accuracy or skill gain works on the bow only. Anything that affects damage works only on arrows.
* The following enchantments are known to work fully on bows : Blessings of the Dark, Bloodthirst, Circle of Cunning, and Nimbleness.
* The following enchantments are known to work on arrows: Demise spells, Flaming Aura, Frostbrand, Rotten Touch, Venom and presumably Life Transfer and Mind Stealer.
* Wind of Ages is believed to only work when practicing on an archery target.

Skill based options
At various points in your bow skill progression you get the following special shooting options:
:* When you have 30 skill in a specific bow, you'll get the Shoot Quickly option. <br>
:* When you have 35 skill in a specific bow, you'll get the Aim at Torso option. <br>
:* When you have 40 skill in a specific bow, you'll get the Aim at right arm and Aim at left arm options. <br>
:* When you have 50 skill in a specific bow, you'll get the Aim at Head option. <br>
:* When you have 60 skill in a specific bow, you'll get the Aim at Face option. <br>
:* When you have 70 skill in a specific bow, you'll get the Aim at Legs option. <br>

Skillgain tips
* You may gain up to 30 skill in a bow type by practicing on an archery target. The main archery skill is also limited to 40 while practicing on an archery target. When 40 main skill is hit, you will no longer be able to gain any skill from archery targets. It is possible to to gain 30 skill in one bow type, then begin a new bow type until your main skill reaches 40.
* Although they give less skill than real arrows, it is best to use arrow shafts when practicing in this way as they are far easier to make and won't damage the target too much. Arrows that arent broken can be picked up at the archery target.
* Firing on the target from outside your bow's optimal range will increase the difficulty, and thus increase your skillgain at higher skill levels.
* Practicing at night will similarly increase the difficultly, so if you find the skillgain slowing you may want to practice when it's dark instead.
* Beyond 40 skill the only way to gain further is by using archery on animals or in player vs. player combat.
