On a paved road you can reach speeds up to 17-18km/h compared to the 11km/h on grass and less then half of that on sand. That in combination with finding your way around (which many seems to have trouble with in wurm) makes it<br /> pretty obvious that roads are a good thing to have.<br /> <br /> And they're so simple to create! Mine some rockshards by first activating your pickaxe then right click on a normal rocktile and select mine from the menu. Next you need to pack the tile you want to pave, do this by activating your shovel and right click on a dirt or grass tile and select pack.
