The hunt for the roaming depot begins with an announcement in the events tab, which lets players know that it has appeared somewhere on the map without specifying where. The Hunt of the Ancients (HotA) is a contest invented by the deities in order to reward bravery and strengthen the soul of humans by luring them into danger.

Notes
The HotA takes place in a special zone called the HotA zone. There is one on Chaos of the Freedom Cluster.

When the Hunt begins, ten pillars and a few speed shrines will be created in the zone. To conquer a pillar, right click > "Conquer".

The first village or alliance to conquer 4 pillars wins.

36 hours after the time of completion, a new HotA will take place.

The prize is a very special statue filled with glittering items. Prizes include medallions, glimmersteel, and adamantine lumps. Special player titles can also be awarded based on the number of wins attributed to that player or their village/alliance.
Not all information is yet known

Description
A farmer's field drying grass to create hay. Use a scythe on grass with the Cut Grass option to convert the tile into a Cut Grass tile.

Tools of the Trade
* Scythe - converting a grass tile into a cut grass tile.
* Rake and Pitchfork - for harvesting as well as tending the grass during the drying process, which increases the final yield of hay.

Notes
* Cut grass can be immediately harvested using a scythe for a large quantity of mixed grass, or allowed to dry and eventually be harvested for hay.
* Drying speed is affected by season, and weather conditions.
* When initially created, and then after each successive drying stage, Cut Grass can be tedded with either a rake or pitchfork to increase the yield of the tile.
* Cut grass tiles can be created on and harvest from nearly any slope, however:
* The maximum slope on which you can tedd grass is 8, where 8 = (highest north-south tile border's slope) + (highest east-west tile border's slope). For example, the slope can be level EW and 8-steep NS, or it can be 4-steep EW and 4-steep NS, etc. Attempting to tedd grass on a greater slope results in a message "The ground is not flat enough for crops to grow. You need to flatten it first". Farm tiles function the same with a slope 8, flat or anything in between. Still need more help, please see the chart below:
* (Hay, damp) You see a farmer's field drying mixed grass. The grass hasn't dried much. The mixed grass happily dries in the sun.
* (Hay, drying) You see a farmer's field drying mixed grass. The grass has lost it's gloss and is dry to the touch. The mixed grass happily dries in the sun.
* (Hay, halfway dried) You see a farmer's field drying mixed grass. The grass is quite dry and on it's way to becoming hay. The mixed grass is being affected by the rain.
* (Hay, almost dried) You see a farmer's field drying mixed grass. The grass is noticeably less green and on it's way to becoming hay. The mixed grass happily dries in the sun.
* (Hay, dried) You see a farmer's field, which would render about 13 handfuls of hay. The hay is a brilliant gold colour and ready to harvest! The hay is waiting patiently for more sun.
Description
Clad is the terminology given to the process of applying materials to an existing reinforced mine wall. This is used in a decorative or aesthetic purpose, and has no further reinforcement effect on the tile it is applied to.

|}

Method
To clad a mine wall, one must first reinforce it with a support beam.

Activate a trowel (for brick cladding), or a hammer or mallet (for wooden cladding), right-click the reinforced wall, then click the desired Clad option. Then, use the same tool to continue cladding with the materials listed.

To create a rendered brick reinforced wall, first clad with stone bricks and mortar to create a stone brick reinforced wall, then combine clay into a single unit at least 10kg large. Activate the clay, right-click the wall, and click Render wall. 10kg of clay will be consumed and the wall will become rendered.
Removing clad
Clad must be removed with the use of a crowbar. After clad removal, the tile will remain reinforced and unprepared as it was prior to its cladding.

Ols is a Horde of the Summoned character on the Epic servers with residences and affiliations on both Elevation and Affliction. Ols has played since 2008, and has at times lived on the original Jenn-Kellon Home, Independence and Wild, before transferring to Epic when it opened. Ols can be contacted on the forums and on the wiki under the same name.

Notable events in Ols' time on Wurm include involvement in the "Lomaner" PMK, being a co-founder of the current HOTS capital, and involvement on many early projects on the Freedom cluster from its opening, including the construction of the village "Nyrada", a sea level village based on Venice, involvement in the celebration of the year 1000 on Wurm, and assisting in constructing one of the first cave canals.

While the character has reasonable stats on both clusters, it is not for sale and has not been previously transferred between owners. When inactive, Ols can be reached via contact details contained within his forum account, if needs require it.

Description
Libila is the evil, dark goddess of the Horde of the Summoned. Becoming a follower of this goddess will automatically mean joining her kingdom. You can only follow this god on the Epic cluster.

Note that you can no longer become a follower of Libila on the Chaos server. The Bone Altar that was there was removed when it was made part of the Freedom Isles.

Her channeling item is a gold or silver statuette of Libila.

Game lore
Libila's converting speech
Look at you. Pitiful creature.

You seek the powers of the Whisperer? They may be available.

Know that I personally will not help you much. But I am bound to tell you that she will.

To tell the truth - She rewards me for recruiting you.

People say much about us. They think we lie. And yes we do. We lie about a lot of things, but not about the truth.

Truth is everything will end. Truth is some of us will be rewarded greatly by Her some day.

Libila will not accept her having been betrayed by the other gods. Your contract with her is to help her, and she will help you.

Her aim is to gain control here, and your goal is to stop the others from gaining it instead.

You are expected and required to use all effective means available: Terror, deception, torture, death, sacrifices.

Are you ready to join the Horde of the Summoned? Know that if you choose not to, you are against us!

Libila's inscription(Bone Altar)
<em>
Look at you. Pitiful creature.

You seek the powers of the Whisperer? They may be available.

I am the Hate and the Deceit, but know that I will help you much.

Know that I want revenge for the betrayal by the others. This is why the scythe is my symbol.

Become my tool and my weapon. Let me sharpen you, and let me run you through the heart of my enemies.

For this I will reward you greatly. You will be given powers beyond normal mortal possibilities.

Exact my revenge anywhere, anytime and anyhow. Make it painful and frightening.

Together, let us enter the Forbidden Lands. We are all in our right to do so!

Let us grow together, and throw our enemies into the void!

Are you ready to join the Horde of the Summoned? Know that if you choose not to, you are against me!
</em>

Libila's Sermon
You initiate the sermon by brandishing your scythe.

You clear your throat and evaluate your audience.

The rabble you have to deal with these days! Let's scare them into submission.

Clearly that didn't do the trick. More gore!

You explain how Libila is in the waning crescent and needs you to do a lot more for her so that she may manifest her powers.

Today you decide to suggest that they confess.

There are enemies of the faith and these must be stopped. You urge the flock to be vigilant, and wary of strangers and infidels.

You finish this sermon by yet again praising Libila and ask everyone to pray together with you.

Tiles where the tree growth is hindered by low temperatures and short growing seasons. It is mostly found on north and south end of the world.

Use
A tundra is often a good hunting spot because animals tend to walk to open places, however tundra does not spawn animals.

To remove it, simply dig it once. Tundra should be treated with care, as it very hard to create. Ice Pillar cast on grass is capable of turning the tile to tundra, but as this is a slow and difficult process it is advisable to avoid destroying tundra tiles unless there is a compelling reason for their removal.

disclaimer

Who are Chat Moderators
A CM is a player that has taken on responsibilities in addition to playing the game. While there is no formal application process players that are being considered go under review by the GM's and if the consensus is positive the player may be offered the position if the server they play on could use more support. Players can express their interest in the position to GMs though most are recommended by current team members. The Head GM makes the final decision. Ideally CM's are experienced players that have no history of chat infractions or game violations.

What do CM's do?
CM's fill two important roles. What most people are aware of is that they moderate the public chat channels and enforce the chat rules. Behind the scenes, CM's also take /support calls to assist players when GM's are unavailable, and resolve calls that can be fixed without GM intervention. They are also able to reach GM's across multiple servers if necessary.

The Chat Rules
If you do not follow the rules you can find yourself muted. If you receive an unofficial warning in one of the chat channels do not argue! If you strongly disagree, send the CM a private message about it, as starting an argument in kchat is likely to get you muted as well. Receiving an official warning is also something you should take up in private with the CM in question, or if you feel uncomfortable with that, any other CM or GM. Warnings are on your account's record, as are mutes, and it's not a good idea to collect these!

<center>This is a non-exhaustive list of reasons you may be muted:</center>
<div style="-moz-border-radius:10px; border:1px solid #ffffff; margin-bottom: 1em; padding: .5em 1em; background: #e8f1ff; -moz-outline-style: outset; -moz-outline-radius: 10px; -moz-outline-color: #0e0e0e; font-size: 100%; width:600px; display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto">
* Talk of/about illicit drug use, possession, or sale.
* Use of vulgar language.

A Wurmian is a species not unlike humans that inhabit the world of Wurm. Players control a Wurmian in their adventures, and NPC Wurmian tower guards, merchants, and traders inhabit the world with them.

A Wurmian has several characteristics that are different to a humans. An example is the average weight of 50kg; a somewhat low weight against that of a human. Wurmians are also much hardier, being able to withstand and heal from powerful attacks, go long periods without food, and (after training and exercise), carry gigantic loads, and resist the intense heat from activities such as picking up molten iron. Wurmians also posses the ability to channel magic.

Wurmians are known to have existed in a relatively civilised state upon their planet for at least 1000 years, before which all records were destroyed by the fire at the Library of Sorrow.
