History:

Glorpax joined Wurm back in January of 2006. During beta, he lived mainly with Zekedge (until Zekedge went BL). During Gold I, he lived in Weenar first, then Lochside. He also owned a place atop Kyara Mountain.

In Gold II, Glorpax became Co-Mayor of Silent Hill.

Notch is the co-owner and co-creator (along with [[User:Rolf|Rolf]]) of Wurm Online.<br>
He does the client program stuff.<br>
Also he is quite hot.

As of 12th of April 2007, Notch as quit developping Wurm.

You might've noticed I haven't been around much lately. There are basically two reasons for this:

1) Real Life
Some things have happened in my life that meant I can't be around as much as I've used to.
I'm two years away from turning 30, and I'm freaking out.

2) Project Status
It feels like most new development that needs to happen in on the server, and there really isn't that much left for me to work on in the client. Adding more features like ridable horses and so feels wrong since fighting and religion still doesn't work properly.

Because of this, I've decided to stop working on Wurm Online, and focus on other things.
I'll still be around, of course.

Perhaps now that I've admitted that, I'll dare showing up on irc again. I miss that place.

An [[animals|animal]] with eight legs. One of the toughest common animals.

*Weak against plate armour
*60-90 damage hits with no armour.
*Weak against swords.

*50-60 fighting with at least full stud leather recommended. (Wild server)
*Avoids deeded areas.
*Spiders on the Wild Server are stronger then the spiders on the Home server.

==Fighting Tips==
It's best to run from a spider the moment you see one moving towards you, unless you are sufficiently skilled, healthy and equipped to kill it. Spiders can kill single tower guards and can usually defeat 2 light deed guards if only facing 2. If you notice one fighting deed or tower guards you should go and help them defeat it. But be aware that if the guard that is currently fighting the spider dies, it could attack you next.

They will go into a frenzy if you are low on [[stamina]] and health. Goblins are attracted to any fighting, including fights with any goblins, making it a certain death if you are not paying attention.

Reputation

Pax: 1 rep point per hour

Reputation lowers when you break the kingdom law, or break a village law when you are within the deed.

Everybody starts with 100, if you go below 100, your reputation will slowly go back up (at the rate of about 1 point per hour, even if you are offline), unless you do something against the law.

You can check your reputation by doing /reputation while in game

If you die with less then 0 rep, you will lose 5x normal skill loss ( 1.25 skill if you die with less then 0 rep)

Below 0 reputation, you will be marked [[outlaw]], and everyone can attack you without penalty.

At -100 reputation guards will attack you on sight.

If you are a [[Whitelighter]] and your rep goes below -200, you will automatically become a [[Blacklighter]]. If you're on the [[Home Server]], you'll be automatically teleported to the [[Black light]] on the [[Wild Server]]. [[Basic Account|Basic Accounts]] cannot change back to the [[White Light]].
