Stingard was perfectly planned and developed WL beta map town. It was lead, planned and mostly built by [[Player:Pops|Pops]]. Other players that contributed to the rise of the Stingard were [[Player:Aven|Aven]] and [[Player:Skio|Skio]].

Stingard was a home(at least for some time) for a few more, very experienced players like [[Player:Jungu|Jungu]], [[Player:Pedro|Pedro]], [[Player:Godfrey|Godfrey]] and [[Player:Pafak|Pafak]]

During the gold map, there were attempts to rebuild Stingard, stronger and better than in beta. Here are ppl that have been carried by this idea:
[[Player:Pops|Pops]], [[Player:Jungu|Jungu]], [[Player:Godfrey|Godfrey]], [[Player:Kix|Kix]], [[Player:Rara|Rara]] and [[Player:Vaiva|Vaiva]]. Also [[Player:Regic|Regic]], [[Player:Aven|Aven]], [[Player:Loucash|Loucash]], [[Player:Nieznajomy|Nieznajomy]] and others were members of Stingard community or had episodes with it and are worth mentioning here.

Now Stingard is no more and the vision that gathered all those ppl is gone.

==Lion's Head- "Do unto others, before they do unto you"==
Lion's Head is a size ten village located along the coast south from [[Rockcliff]], along the northern higway, at the very base of Gold Mountain. The area is rich in resources, being near Iron, Gold, copper, flint, clay, tar, and lots of Wood of all kinds. [[Brown Bear|Bears]], [[Black wolf|wolves]], [[Mountain Lion|mountian lions]], [[Wild Boar|wild boars]], [[Dog|dogs]], [[crocodile|crocodiles]] and [[huge spider|spiders]] are found frequently in the area.

The city itself strives to be picturesque, and offers a majestic view of Gold Mountain.

It is home to some of the more skilled and well known craftspeople on home server.

==History==
Lion's Head began as a thread on the [http://allboards.lionhead.com/index.php? Lionhead Studios forums]. The first settlement was located a short ways north of [[Newtown]], near the homesteads of [[Ruidean]] and [[Lake View]]. The plan was to found a deeded village, which was impossible in that location. Therefore, after much discussion, a new location was decided on in the recource rich coast at the base of Gold Mountain (sometimes called Twin Peaks Mountain).

The brave pioneers loaded all their belongings upon several rafts, and began the long journey to the North, watching for bears with great vigilance. The journey lasted several days, everyone moving slowly with their rafts and other burdens. Some things were lost, including the entire set of blacksmith's equipment. Several players were injured upon coming ashore, and one was killed due to the heavy concentration of wildlife in the area.

Finally, the new location was picked, and the settlement quickly founded in the ruins of an older settlement. They were soon to discover that this settlement was not quite abandoned, however. The sole survivor of the previous town, Stingard, was still holding the fort. Rara was his name, and he was not exactly pleased to see a bunch of newbies building a town in his front yard. However, what began as an unfortunate misunderstanding soon became a great boon of fortune, as Rara became one of the town's most valued members, bringing with him great experience and skill to guide the village in its infancy.

Since then, Lion's Head has grown into a significant trade center. Its merchants have on offer all manner of goods, some of them extrordinarily rare and valuable.

==Fighting Tips==
It's best to run from a spider the moment you see one moving towards you, unless you are sufficiently skilled, healthy and equipped to kill it. Spiders can kill single tower guards and can usually defeat 2 light deed guards if only facing 2. If you notice one fighting deed or tower guards you should go and help them defeat it. But be aware that if the guard that is currently fighting the spider dies, it could attack you next.

==History==

Members of the "Universal Zealots Inc." Guild founded the Zealots Refuge many months ago. During the passing age it has been built to completion, abandoned, and re-built to a grander scale. Now actively occupied once more by UZI members, the Zealots Refuge has expanded it's boundaries and increase it's influence. With a completed road to the main Highway traffic can follow easily into our town. A guard town is nearing completion to protect travellers on the access road with future plans on clearing a tunnel straight through to the highway, rather then over the escartment. Our animals are plentiful and maintained in a large pen. The fields are contained inside Stone walls for farming security.

At the South side there is a Section of the town partially exposed and covered on 3 sides with Tall walls. This area acts as a Attack safty zone, where people can go if they are being chased by wild animals. Once inside the zone the animal will be attacked by our Guard yet the safety of the village is not at risk.

We are continually changing the surrounding landscrap, removing the over crowded Lemon tree forest that had been this areas Bane and replanting then with Oak, Birch, Cedar, Pine and Willow.

*Trabquility view - From the gates of our town you can look out over the valley and the lake nessled at the foot of the mountain.

*ZR's Sun tanning area- At the base of the hill next to our town is a large flat section of land set aside for relaxing at the lake side. Swimming Fishing and odd crafts are always encouraged.

From Newtown's landbridge, follow it onto the sand-lined highway and take a left when the opportunity presents itself. About 10 minutes of walking down the road you Will see the "Highway Security HQ". Go up the large side road just on the far side of that and Up the hill. 3 minutes down that path will open up into a view of our town.

From Cliffside follow the Main Highway back towards NT. you will come upon the "Highway Security HQ" on your right and Our access road is on the near side going off to your right. 3 minutes down that path will open up into a view of our town.

Stingard was perfectly planned and developed WL beta map town. It was lead, planned and mostly built by [[Player:Pops|Pops]]. Other players that contributed to the rise of the Stingard were [[Player:Aven|Aven]] and [[Player:Skio|Skio]].

Stingard was a home(at least for some time) for a few more experienced players like [[Player:Jungu|Jungu]], [[Player:Pedro|Pedro]], [[Player:Godfrey|Godfrey]] and [[Player:Pafak|Pafak]]

During the gold map, there were attempts to rebuild Stingard stronger and better than in beta. Here are ppl that have been carried by this idea:
[[Player:Pops|Pops]], [[Player:Jungu|Jungu]], [[Player:Godfrey|Godfrey]], [[Player:Kix|Kix]], [[Player:Rara|Rara]] and [[Player:Vaiva|Vaiva]]. Also [[Player:Regic|Regic]], [[Player:Aven|Aven]], [[Player:Loucash|Loucash]], [[Player:Nieznajomy|Nieznajomy]] and others were members of Stingard community or had episodes with it and are worth mentioning here.

Now Stingard is no more and the vision that gathered all those ppl is gone.

It all started when me seanstinson, davidbritsky, and vogar were living in another area and then all moved on to go different ways and then vogar set up a small peaceful homestead in this resource rich area as me and davidbritsky were closer to moicoh. Then davidbritsky started playing less so I had to find my way into a town so I found pupanox and then as I heard they were moving to the wild I started talking to vogar again and found I could move in with him. So he got a deed for a size 5 village and made me elder of klerat. Then davidbritsky started to play again so we aloud him in and found he was into healing so we made him shaman of our town and soon after he found religion with Fo. At the same time I found vynora and began to worship her ways and then converted vogar to the ways of vynora. The next day I got myself a gold coin and me and vogar decided I should upgrade us to a size 10 and then for my good deed I was made the proud mayor of Klerat. Now that we are a larger town we are deffinately looking for new members of our town and we are quite leniant with our rules and supply most of the essentials so jus PM seanstinson or one of the other officials listed above if you are interested.

But be aware that if the guard that is currently fighting the spider dies, it could attack you next. 
After the armour fix, chains are more suitable when facing spider or any other animal which bites.

These Marketplaces work like Bazaars of some games. But rather than having a Dev or GM run it the players are in charge to offer all fairness and Player manipulation of the system.

Traders come with size 10 deeds and larger. 

Traders buy and sell items, with the price depending on supply and demand. Each item has a base price. Traders only have the items people sold them. They only start with whetstones, merchants and village deeds.

They always have merchants and every type of town and homestead deed.

A trader placed by a citizen of a town becomes a town trader. These traders pay taxes to the town they belong to for each item sold. The taxes go towards the towns deed upkeep.

The money from items bought from the trader stay with the trader. The money from deeds bought from the trader go directly towards the king. Traders do not start with any money when first summoned, so it's a good idea to place your trader as soon as possible.

The king occasionally(daily?) distributes the money he receives from the traders together with the money of the upkeep to all the traders. Traders who own more then 50 silver do not get money from the king.

Traders must be placed at a minimum distance of 63 tiles apart and must be within a building, but they do stay if the building decays away.

If the town that owns the trader is disbanded, so does the trader.

Now Stingard is no more and the vision that gathered all those ppl is gone.
