The achievement system was added May 31st, 2012.

To access your achievements, open the main menu and click on "Achievement Window".

Separate achievement records are kept on each server. Travelling between servers will change the contents of a player's achievement window.

* The most difficult lock to create.
* The boat's inventory window must be closed to attach or remove a boat lock, otherwise the option to ''Lock'' or ''Unlock'' won't appear.
* The option to lock will not appear if the lock is heated, cool it first.
* To attach a boat lock, activate the lock, right-click the boat, and select ''Lock''.
* To remove a boat lock, activate the correct key, right-click the boat, and select ''Unlock''.
* You do not need the key to access the cargohold, permissions are managed in the ''Manage vehicle'' dialogue.

== Notes ==
* Only with a boat lock, will the permissions in the management dialog then take effect.
* The [[quality]] of the large anvil affects your success chance when creating.
* The quality of the iron lump determines the maximum quality of the resulting lock.
* You will want a quality of 80 or higher to effectively protect your boat on [[server types|servers]] with [[lockpick]]ing and [[stealing]] enabled.

A type of [[:Category:Swords|sword]]. Larger and slower than the [[short sword]], but faster and smaller than the [[two handed sword]]. It can be wielded in one hand, and is better at parrying than other types of weapons, such as [[:Category:Mauls|mauls]] and [[:Category:Axes|axes]].

The [[QL]] of the [[handle]] plays a role in the success rate while crafting. A failed attempt will lower quality level of the handle and damages the [[Long sword blade|blade]]

A quick way to increase your skill level using the long sword is to cut down trees with it. You can only reach 20 skill doing this though. On Epic, this is curved to approximately 11 skill.
