Orient Isle is a landmass (possibly and Island, although that hasn't been conclusively decided yet) that sits well east of Newtown, across the body of water that surrounds Donner's Mountain on the current map, Gold 2.

= Purpose =

Orient Isle has been named simply to give the residents of the area a sense of community so that they may coordinate with each other to make their own individual game lives better as well as the entire state of the Isle.

Residents of Orient Isle congregate on the heavenly place IRC network in #OrientIsle. Whether a resident of the area or not, any and all are welcome to join the channel to communicate with the residents for purposes of trade, civic organization, or even just personal chatter.

= People =

While the social structure of Orient Isle is at present very amorphous, as things grow a loose social hierarchy will emerge. When this happens, you will find a list of people you can contact to become part of the community.

= Places =

Currently the Orient Isle region stretches from Steel Bay all the way up to Verdant Isle and encompasses almost every deed in between. This is not static as word of out existence spreads and as our knowledge of geography becomes more complete, thanks largely to [[Kinoss]]'s Map.

The following settlements are located on the Isle and recognize the region:
