== New Player's Guide ==

First of all, welcome to the world of Wurm Online! Wurm Online is not like an ordinary MMORPG. In fact it is not even an MMORPG - it is a new genre of games - MMOFS. Massivly Multiplayer Online Fantasy Simulation.

The world of Wurm starts of with no towns/villages, buildings or any signs of civilization. That's up to you - you have to build the towns. You can even form the land by digging and moving dirt. You could even move a whole mountain (given lots of time).

First of all you are going to have to start the client. For this you are going to need a fairly modern graphics card and Java.

Java can be downloaded [http://www.java.com/en/download/ here]. More information on this is on the [http://www.wurmonline.com Wurm Online Home Page].

Once you are ready click the "Launch" button. Then wait.

First thing you will probably want to change some settings. Click "Options". On an old/bad system you should turn all the options down to the lowest possible and deselect all the checkboxes with extra features.
