* A hen is a farm [[creatures|animal]] that can be found in the wilderness.
* They can be white, black , or brown in color. * They can be lead with a [[rope]] without being [[Taming|tamed]]. * Hens do ''not'' grazein Wurm. * You must feed them by hand or by dropping a pile of seeds, cereals, small vegetables or mixed grass near them.
** When eating from a pile, they seem to eat roughly 10 seeds per RL day.
** When fed and kept on the appropriate terrain ([[Dirt tile|dirt]], [[Grass tile|grass]], [[farming|crops]] tile), they will lay [[egg]]s.
* To hatch eggs, lay a fertile egg on a tile and allow it to decay. When it reaches 100 damage, there is a small chance that a chicken will emerge.
* Hens will be hunted down by carnivorous animals or mobs.
* Dies at [[Age#Creatures|aged]] stage unless [[Animal husbandry#Caring|cared for]].
