Description

Discovering things since 980

The settlement token of Newtown is the starting point of new players that start the game on the homeserver. Newtown has public traders and a bartender.

NPCs in Newtown (map 11)

  1. Trader Takhara and Trader Manet are the traders of Newtown. You can exchange goods with him, grab some bargains.
  2. Spirit guards - They protect the town from wild animals, thieves, murderers, and general miscreants.
  3. The Barkeep Bart in the tavern - He gives you free food if you have played for less than 24 hours of game time. Type /time into the chat window to check all notable time details.

Trading

New Town is importing NOTHING!!! All imports are currently canceled until further notice!

New Town is exporting;

  1. Healing covers over 10 power for the price of 5 iron per potency
  2. Cassaroles at the rate of 5 iron per 0.10 weight
  3. Small Iron Nails at 7 iron per handful
  4. Large Iron Nails at 10 iron per handful
  5. Small Carts at 1 copper per cart
  6. Strings of cloth at 20 iron per string
  7. 20ql stone chisels at 10c each
  8. 20ql files at 10c each
  9. 20ql butcher knives at 10c each
  10. Door Locks 40 iron per 5 QL
  11. Ropes at 2 copper per rope
  12. Bow strings at 10 iron per 5 QL After 30 QL it's 20 iron per QL

Free Services

All New Town citizens whenever possible will offer healing services as following; Bandaging for free Applying any healing covers under 10 potency for free

Free information. All citizens will give free advice to any player who asks it of them they wish unless busy or requesting otherwise.

Freedom to lure animals. All players may lead animals to New Town's deed for the guards to kill, they are also entitled to butcher. Though when butchering please bury corpses.

Freedom to roam. All players can roam New Town freely and will not be charged or placed upon a KOS list. This does not include citizens housing or farm land.


Rules

  1. Bury corpses that are your own or a citizen of your village as they cause lag issues with other players and the server
  2. Do not beg citizens for free items if they have already said no
  3. Chat rules apply within the local range of New Town. If you can pick up a player who is in New Town whilst you're in local. Follow the chat rules.
  4. Treat players with respect in the local area. Keep confrontations to private messages.
  5. Don't insult or grief New Town's citizens as they are here to help.
  6. Remain calm, have fun
