Talk:Wild growth
I've seen no evidence of increased crop yields from this spell. - Cunk

Casted wild growth on a about 500 tiles of garlic over a 5 day period. I would cast on every 3 "untended" tiles to make sure I at the very lest hit every 3x3 area. In the end not a single garlic tile had a yield improvement. Crops where 99 ql seed which where sown and harvested with a 99 skill farmer...all of them where 6 yield. This is the number you get when not raking. Also, these 500 tiles where sown at about the same time as another 1500 garlic tiles. None of those 1500 where raked. All tiles got ripe at about the same time and yielded 6 per tile. Joedobo (talk) 23:20, 9 May 2014 (CEST)
I just had a yield of 15 garlic with 40 farming, with no other explanation than that I was casting a large amount (didn’t count, but likely 20 or more) of wild growths on the oak in the neighbouring tile. So it would seem like wild growth adds a growth tick, even if the field is already tended. --Glynflorel (talk) 03:00, 24 September 2020 (PDT)
