I tested it out before making this page actually and [[Player:Edmazur]] didn't come up in the search results. To see what I mean, try searching for "cono". Neither your user nor player page appears in the results. The technical reason this happens is because databases can't utilize indexes when pattern strings begin with wildcards. So I made this page to act as a redirect to my player page, but it seems this is frowned upon. I'm just wondering if there's an alternative way of doing what I want to do that conforms to Wurm/MediaWiki standards. Seems like reasonable enough functionality to search a person's name and be brought to their user/player page. [[User:Edmazur|Edmazur]] 17:44, 27 May 2008 (CDT)
Ah well that may be my problem, when I search for things I usually click the box pertaining to the thing I'm searching for. For instance, click "Players" when you search for your user name, it should be a little check box. -[[User:Cono|Cono]] 20:21, 27 May 2008 (CDT)
