'''Frame rate''' is the number of frames per second (FPS) the [[client]] is able to generate.
The current frame rate can be displayed in [[Basic Knowledge|Wurm]] by double-clicking on the [[HUD#Statusbar|status bar]], right-clicking on the status bar and selecting Toggle FPS, opening the [[console]], and using the command <tt>toggle fps</tt>. This command can also be added to the autorun.txt file to display the frame rate constantly.
The statistics window can also be used, which is opened by {{key|F9}} ({{key|F4}} in the [[unstable client]]) or <tt>toggle stats</tt> in the console).
