*Ships can be transported over land using [[ship_transporter|ship transporter]]s.

*The [[small raft]] is not considered a functional ship, as it floats but cannot be boarded or commanded.

*It is possible to disembark directly onto dry land from a ship by right-clicking a nearby tile of dry land and selecting ''disembark''.
