* Items enchanted with this spell need to be [[Equip|worn]] for it to have an effect.
* The chance that it will hide you from [[Locate soul]] is (quality + power)/2. This value also determines the duration of [[Locate soul#Resistance|Locate soul resistance]] if the player is successfully detected.* Reduces the range at which [[Lurker in the dark]] can locate the player, down to a minimum of 50 tiles.
* The enchantment loses 1 power per 5 locate attempts, regardless of whether or not it blocks location.
* If you are wearing multiple of these items only the item with the highest enchant will count.
