Activate a "[[glowing]] from heat" [[metal lump]], right-click the small anvil in your inventory, and 'Create >'. Small anvils need can to be in your inventory or on ground to be used and unlike the large anvil cannot be used to create items while on the ground. Higher quality anvils increase the chance of successfully creating an item.
