*An identified A fragment may say: ''ore fragment [1/3], iron'' - this tells you it is a piece of iron ore, and you need 2 more fragments to combine to it.*A fragment may say: ''unidentified A fragment may say ''fragment of a lava fiend statue, metal fragment'' - this tells you that the resulting product will be metal (iron, tin, lead, gold, silver, copper, or zinc)*A fragment may say: ''unidentified A fragment may say ''fragment of a lava fiend statue, alloy fragment'' - this tells you that the resulting product will be an alloy (steel, brass, bronze, or electrum) though it is heavily weighted to be steel.
*A fragment may say ''fragment of a lava fiend statue, moonmetal'' - this tells you that the resulting product will be a moonmetal (seryll, glimmersteel, or adamantine).
Instantly identified fragments give a greater chance of runes. The following actions reduce the chance for runes: using the incorrect tool on restoration steps, failing an identify action or failing a combine action.
Any rarity, runes, on fragments will always transfer to the finished item.Runes or enchants on tool heads, weapon heads, and spear heads will transfer over to the completed item when combinedfinished tool or weapon.
