On the suggestion of Jyin, there is a tentative plan to build two Colossi, one either side of Bear Bay at Small Bears and Serene Bear Landing. Apart from helping to define and identify the bay, these would be used as end markers for future boat races.
Gurubear is We are keen to encourage and help any and all players that want to settle down to this rather laid back and Zen type of existence round Bear Bay. There is plenty of land available to build on, or you may be interested in moving into one of the vacant properties in the village itself. If you wish to become a citizen, all we ask is that you are prepared to join in with the various projects and to help others both in and around the village. We are looking especially for players who are prepared to give a long term commitment to the village and the community around Bear Bay.

The Village of Small Bears is a very relaxed company of people, as is the community of which it is part, The village motto, though clichéd, says much of the attitude of the Mayor in general: Peace, man, peace.
However, we have a couple of guidelines for visitors and potential settlers alike:
A future plan for Wurm is to allow the construction of [[Planned_features|boats]] to make use of the considerable water area. The manufacture of boats and training people in their use is seen as a possible source of revenue for the village as well as a lot of fun.
