Samling is the starter town of [[Independence]] on the [[Freedom Isles]] server, located at the north coast. The deed is held by the [[GM|game moderator]] Levedara. If your avatar happens to [[death|die in the game]], you will always have the option to [[respawn ]] here.
Samling is rather small, compared to other and former starter towns. It will most likely not be expanded or fit with a merchant row like [[Newtown]] for example, [[:Category:Freedom_settlements|Player-driven towns ]] are featuring trading places instead.
It has a token to access your [[bank account]] at, and a [[bartender]] that gives new players free food in their first 24 hours of total playtime.
