To write on the sign it must be in your [[inventory]]. Then right Right click it and select Renameand enter your message. Enter whatever shall be written on the sign. After this you can  To plant the sign. Just simply stand where you want to have it and in place, right click, then on the sign in your inventory and select Plant. If Once planted the sign doesn't point in may be pushed, pulled or rotated by using the right direction after planting, right -click it, then select "Turn item clockwise" or "Turn item counterclockwise" interface.
