The current frame rate can be displayed in the wurm client by double-clicking on the [[HUD#Statusbar|status bar]], opening the [[console]], and using the command "toggle fps" there. You can add this command to the [[autorun|autorun.txt]] file if you want it to be displayed permanently.
You can also use the statistics window which is opened by {{key|F9}} ({{key|F4}} in the [[unstable client]], "toggle stats" in the console) to have a quick look.
The maximum frame rate the client will render can be limited with a [[Client Configuration#Advanced tab|frame rate limiter]] - especially useful if you run into heat problems. Tips for improving the frame rate can be found on the [[Client Configuration]] page as well.
