A) [[Pelt|Pelts]] are a product from [[Large Rat|Large Rats]] and [[Wild Cat|Wild Cats]]. In order to get one, you first have to find and kill one of those animals. then you have to use a [[Butchering Knife]] to butcher the corpse. If you are successful, you will get a pelt. Alternatively, you may be lucky enough to find one for sale at a [[Trader]], or you might find a more experienced player willing to give or sell you a pelt.

A) If you have been playig less than 24 hours, you can get free food by visiting The [[Creature:Bartender|Barkeep]] in the tavern at [[Newtown]]. While you take advantage of this free food it is recommended that you begin gaining skill at cooking, it is essential to the game.
