Spawn A '''spawn''' in [[Wurm]] is the word used to describe (in this game) the location where [[animals]] are created into the world. Most animals are spawned from [[lair|lairs]], however animals s but some will also spawn on certain [[terrain]], areas of certain influence such as [[HOTS]], or can be hatched. [[Animal taming|TameableTame]] able animals can also be [[Animal Breeding|bred]].

Unique creatures are only spawned once with the creation of the world/[[map]], and will not return without [[GM]] intervention. Exceptions to this are [[dragons]]; female dragons can on rare occasions lay a [[huge egg]] which should hatch.
