Preaching is the skill used in converting [[convert]]ing other people to your [[religion]], to hold [[sermon]]s, and to take [[confession]]s.
To use convert someone using this skill, activate the holy item for your [[religion]] then right-click another person, and select religion->convert. Your target must have issued the command "/invitations" for this to work.
New converts start with [[faith]] equal to one fifth of your preaching skill.
