Barley is an item which a crop that can be used in the making of [[cooking]] to make [[flour]] (Barley on a for baking [[grindstonebread]]) , or to make [[breadtaming|tame]] and feed animals like [[hen]] or [[horse]].
Barley can be found by foraging and [[botanizing]], but it can also be made by planting barley [[Farming|sown]] on a dirt tile. You must harvest it with a [[scythe]], to produce more grain.
You will need a [[scythe]] to harvest this crop. When used in a [[healing cover]], it barley has a potency of 2.
