Currently not much information is known about the Epic server type as it's still being explored and figured out.
Fully owned by the native kingdom. The entire server is automatically claimed as Freedom kingdom territory, so guard towers are not required to plant deeds.

Wurm currently has four types of serversthat players can access:
:*Tutorial (Also known as Golden Valley)

:*Freedom [[PvP]] (Chaos, which used to be called Wild)
:*Epic (Elevation, Desertion, Affliction, and Serenity)

Finally there is a login server which is part of the infrastructure used to manage accounts. If the logon server is down, no accounts can logon to any of the other servers.

Wild servers are battlegrounds where different kingdoms clash together. There is no pre-owned land, it must be claimed by constructing guard towers. Deeds can only be placed within the territories claimed by the towers.
