Later, the main carpentry skill can be raised by improving [[mallet]]s and [[fishing rod]]s.
Beyond 50 to 60, a good way to raise the main carpentry skill is to develop the subskills, ie [[fine carpentry]], [[bowyery]], [[fletching]], [[toy making]] and [[ship building]]. *From experimentation it seems that developing Fine Carpentry gives more skill gain to Carpentry compared to the other subskills, such as Bowyery. This is not a conclusive fact, however, as more experimentation and data is needed. (1/4/2014)
