* Slows the horse a moderate amount.
* Chain Barding takes up more space in a [[forge]] than the [[armor chains ]] that are used to make it.
* Will not fit inside an empty [[backpack]].
* At a [[chain armour smithing]] of 19.47, with a 22.31 [[QL]] [[large anvil]], you have a 6% success chance to create.

:Test (25.06.13): Without Chain Barding 26.64 km/h, with Chain Barding 20.8 km/h. Barding quality was 50.45 (not sure if important or not).
