* Since you must plan a roof above walls, a thatched roof can only be planned on the 2nd story and above since the 1st story of every building is the ground floor. Basically this means that the roof located on the 2nd story of a house is the roof of the 1st floor. The chart below reflects the technical side of the data.

* Requires 21 thatching skill to build.
* You need to have one thatch and one wire in inventory to start building the roof.
* Can be repaired and improved with planks.
* A roof located on top of the 1st story of a building, otherwise called the 1st-floor roof, is technically built on the 2nd story and so the chart below reflects this for accuracy. (Example: a 1-story building has a roof, and that roof is located above the 1st floor on the 2nd story)
