Wind of ages reduces the time it takes to perform your action, up to the base timer (4 seconds for most tools). It's effectiveness depends on the type of tool. As part of skill-gain is based on the length of the action timer, skill-gain per action is reduced when using WoA enchanted equipment. However, skill-gain per time spent doing actions is identical between WoA enchanted and not.
On weapons, it no longer affects swing timers, but contributes now to a marginal increase to parry rate. [[Nimbleness]] was introduced as a replacement for this spell.
