The Black Dragon Hatchling is one of the 5 Hatchling Hatchlings in wurmWurm. There is usually only one dragon of each type per map, unless they are hatched from [[huge egg|huge eggs]]. This dragon will drop black [[drake hide]] upon death.
When slain, every premium player in local will receive a small piece of black dragon hide and [[blood]].

*Despite it's wings, the black dragon hatchling is unable to fly.*The black dragon hatchling can swim.
*Cannot be tamed.
*The black dragon hatchling may pick up and throw players.*The black dragonhatchling, like any other unique, will break any wall or fence in it's path.*Slaying the black dragon hatchling will give the title "Dragonslayer".
