*When simply dropped dirt will raise the nearest tile corner of the player dropping it.
*To create a pile of dirt on the ground without raising the terrain, drop at least 4 other items ([[wood scraps]] are good for this) so that a [[pile of items]] is created, open the new pile and then drop the dirt into it. The same thing works for [[heap of sand]].
*Dirt is used in the creation of [[charcoal pile]]s.
