I am an older Wurmian. I use to play back in late of 2009 till 2011.
This is my short story.
I originally started in the Free Server for free players with friends but after a few short lived months they no longer felt the value in playing Wurm. I as a result was left behind to wander and scavenge. For a few short months I finally found my calling, a farmer and general labourer in 'Scorpion Stone'. I was recruited to Scorpion Stone and there I lived happily with many friends. Overtime the village slowly became smaller and more and more of us moved on in life or moved to the premium servers.
I eventually stopped playing as everyone had left. I later returned to find the settlement abandoned and much of it decayed. I salvaged what I could and headed out. I proceeded to survive with the help of Hordern and I assisted him with general tasks and with that he let me store my things and fed me. Eventually I was sponsored by a good friend and left for 'Freedom' to a village I can't even remember the name of. It was a great joy living in the village that I did and I met many friends. Overtime the same happened to that village that happened to many before, it was abandoned and everyone moved on. I too shortly before the fall of the village stopped playing as I no longer sow a purpose in remedial farming day in and day out.
Long story short. Over Wurm I met many great friends and lost contact with a great many of them. I miss them all greatly and still think back to those enjoyable moments with them.
