I have found that the new ratio for water to grain is this: ou can have at the MOST .02kg of water for every .30kg of grain. At least, that's as close as I can get, or anyone can get I believe. Further testing needs to be done to know if this ratio works with gulasch and soup as well. - AvatarJTC
:Read up on talk:nutrition and gulasch, gulasch doesn't need water. Porridge does not work in a sauce pan. Try using a cauldron and something else than water.
But porridge DOES work in a sauce pan, I used a sauce pan and made porridge in a sauce pan. So far every single thing I've tried other than water doesn't work with porridge. Either it makes casseroles (yes casseroles, Pumpkin + grain) or stew-AvatarJTC

I just made porridge with 3.6kg of filleted fish, 1 corn, and the remainder of the saucepan (0.12kg) filled with water. So I second that porridge can be made in saucepans. Arcas 19:21, 31 December 2010 (UTC)
