Description

Lurker in the woods allows the user to detect the presence and rough whereabouts of nearby champion creatures in a manner similar to water divining. To use the enchanted pendulum, right click it and choose 'use'.

The range is dependent on the server size:

• 2048 tile servers will be power / 100 x 64 = tile radius.
• 4096 servers will be power / 100 x 128 = tile radius.
• 8192 servers will be power / 100 x 256 = tile radius.

Example: A cast power of 75 will give you 48, 96, 192 tile radius respectively.

Method

1. Activate your deity's statuette
2. Right-click a pendulum.
3. Select Spells > Lurker in the woods

Outcomes

Distance	Message
0 tiles	You are practically standing on the presence!
1-3 tiles	The presence is in front of you a stone's throw away!
4-5 tiles	The presence is in front of you very close.
6-9 tiles	The presence is in front of you pretty close by.
10-19 tiles	The presence is in front of you fairly close by.
20 to ~43 tiles	The presence is some distance away in front of you.
> ~43 tiles	The pendulum doesn't seem to move.

The messages will indicate the direction of the presence; front, behind, left, and right. Front being used as the example.

Notes

• A pendulum cast with Lurker in the woods will no longer function normally, and cannot be used to detect water.

Warning

There is a risk that this spell will damage or destroy the pendulum if you fail casting it.
