,* Hens do ''not'' graze in Wurm.
** When eating from a pile, they seem to eat roughly 10 seeds per RL day.
** When Hens will lay [[egg]]s when fed and kept on the appropriate terrain (following types of tile: [[Dirt tile|dirt]], [[Grass tile|grass]], [[farming|cropsEnchanted grass]], [[Mycelium]], [[moss]], [[steppe]], [[lawn]], [[bushes]] tile(normal and enchanted), they will lay [[eggfarming|crops]]s.
* To hatch eggs, lay a fertile egg on a tile and allow it to decay. When it reaches 100 damage, there is a small chance that a chicken will emerge.
* Hens will be hunted down by carnivorous animals or mobs.
