The Wurmpedia team are actively running projects behind the scene to give the Wurmpedia a new lick of life, just like any development this may not be immediately apparent to the rest of the universe, so in order to keep transparency we're listing our projects below. Feel free to suggest new projects on the Wurmpedia / Wiki maintenance forum section.

In progress
* Religion is slowly undergoing a complete review due to the ascension of new deities.

* Server pages are being created in order to help players understand more about each. Currently the information is crammed into one or two disconnected pages, we intend to have these all aligned and tidied.

* Settlement and player pages are being moved to their own namespaces for the time being. Any new ones found in the main namespace going forward will be deleted.

* The babel is being cleaned up; we are removing ingame, settlement, player and guides etc from the babel list. This is to keep it relevant and more like an index to the game, rather than an index to the community.

Completed
* Gifts: You will notice that the old and rushed pages have had a spruce of life and now include the standard ItemBox template along with a some structure across the board.

* We've replaced the green you've all known for so many years with a colour more suited to the Wurm Online theme, a nice subtle brown.

* A new template has been added which will turn any event messages into something that more resembles the in-game client event tab.

* As part of our updates of high-touch pages we have re-vamped the Healing cover page to make more use of the page in general.

* Some of the links on the left navigation bar have had an update too, in particular the Current events and this Community portal page.

* Basic Knowledge is had a revamp to be more of a first-stop page, or an introduction, for all players, old and new. Of course this is always going to change with updates, but the bulk of the revamp is complete.

This is the main page for the Wurmpedia wiki community where you can read more about the Wurmpedia projects, roadmap and also if you're looking for something to collaborate on.

To learn more about the Wurmpedia, head over to the About article where you can read up on our governance and find out how to get yourself an account.

Adding information to the wiki is only the first step; the information needs to be easy to find, understand, and improve on. Here you will find the Wurmpedia Team's roadmap to a better Wurmpedia Wurmpedia editing handbook. Always feel free to contact a WA for help or clarification.

If you're looking for information about Wurm Online itself, try the Main Page or complete DB.

Getting involved

Even if you are not an editor or on the Wurmpedia Team, you can still help keep the Wurmpedia up to date and relevant. There is a section of the Wurm Online forum where you can post your ideas and updates, each under their respective page title. A member of the Wurmpedia Team or an editor will help get the information you've provided added to the wiki.

Collaboration

If you have an editor account and would like to get involved, here are a few things you can do:

 • Add your knowledge from gameplay.
 • Take and contribute in game pictures for pages that need new or better pictures. You can ask in Discord, the forums, or IRC for suggestions of needed pictures. Editors can put pictures in #image-discussion on Discord or send links via forum or IRC.
 • Check for spelling and grammar errors, if you have a good grasp of written English. Wurm English is slightly odd in that it is a mix of British and American spellings. Use what is in game.
 • Write or research a newbie or grinding guide in any skill you enjoy.
