Main / Skills / Fighting / Defensive fighting
Defensive fighting style significantly increases your parry chance and reduces movement penalty. However, this style lowers attack speed, damage, and accuracy in exchange. Defensive fighting is best used with a sword as these weapons have a high parry chance and possibly a shield to increase the blocking chance even further.
When fighting a creature with a group, the fighter taking the damage (the tank) usually uses defensive fighting to minimize injury, while the other players use normal or aggressive mode.
