Description
Preserved grass used to feed animals.
Usage
- Used in the creation of hay bundles using string or hay stacks using a pitchfork.
- Can be fed to animals directly or placed in containers for them to eat.
- A hay bundle can be placed in saddlebags to take on trips (this does not work for loose hay or hay stacks).
- The hay drying tile must be given several real life days to dry before it will yield hay. If harvested early, you will obtain mixed grass instead.
Notes
- Cutting it from grass tiles uses the gardening skill.
- Can be stored in a bulk storage bin.
- Hay tiles placed under the shade of trees seem to take longer to dry than tiles exposed fully to sun and no shade.
- Tedding (or farming) hay tiles with a pitchfork increases yield.
- It is typical to gather varying amounts of hay per tile.
