Description

Caffeinated beverages such as tea and coffee cause the player to use sleep bonus at an accelerated rate providing a means of faster skill gain than using sleep bonus alone. Sleep bonus can be used 1 to 2 times the normal rate depending on caffeine effect level.

Notes

  • While caffeine is active, sleep bonus is used at an accelerated rate in return for increased skill gain; however, doing so produces the restlessness de-buff.
  • Caffeine causes alcohol intoxication to decay faster, causing faster sobering up.
  • Drinking a caffeinated beverage within 10 minutes of logging in yields ten free minutes of sleep bonus.
  • The maximum caffeine effect is 100 which yields a 2x sleep bonus use rate.
  • Caffeinated beverages can be consumed with a full thirst bar.

Restlessness

Restlessness is a negative spell effect generated by using Sleep Bonus, while the Caffeine buff is active, until the point where Caffeine will no longer give you its benefits (5 hours).
