Seeds are found by foraging on Animal burrow and Critter nest nodes, and by right-clicking on a veggie or resource and selecting pick seeds. They can be sown in dirt. Seeds can be used to tame deer, pheasants, hens, chickens, roosters, and unicorns. Some seeds can also be eaten.

While some herbs do produce seeds, only seeds that can be planted in the ground (not planters) count as seeds for taming and animal feeding purposes.
