There are only 2 places to safely store items, a settlement token bank and a bag of keeping (or a master bag of keeping).
- A settlement token bank account only stores 5 items and any amount of coins. If item is a container like a backpack it has to be empty to be placed in your settlement token bank account.
- You can also store some small items in a bag of keeping, you will keep these items when you die. However Bag of Keepings are hard to get hold of.
You can store items inside locked large chests for some security. These chests can be lockpicked however. Small chests provide little security as they can be burned inside a fire.
Note that using a personal merchant for storing items securely is considered an exploit. Such merchants will be whizkilled by the Game Masters.
