Description
Improving, in a nutshell, is an action that results in the quality of said item being increased. To improve something, you need to right-click the item that you want to improve, click examine and read what item is needed to improve it, activate said item and right click your first item again and attempt to improve it.
Notes
Some items require certain conditions to be improved, for example, smithing items need to be "Glowing from heat" to improve. Also, all items need to be at 0 damage to be improved.
Some items cannot be improved and will reflect that when the examine command gives no information for improvement. The tools from the newbie starter kit, for example, falls into this category as do most building materials.
